Powerbot compromised no longer safe

I have used powerbot for a long time and i used to love it..

I can inform you that it is no longer safe to use.
I personaly have been hacked 2 times in the past week for 30m

They logged on and my friend calls me and explicitly tells me what he is saying..

and i quote

" Tell your friend GF for using powerbot...." "gotten him 2 times this week so far, i was the person who took the first 20 mill"

 

Damn that blows >.< I know several people who STILL use it and won't believe otherwise.

 

Did you have a bank pin and when you enter your bank pin with the client, are the information you entered saved in their database? if not, then just set a bank pin and your good to go.

Yea i was 2 days away from pin ea time... he told my friend that powerbot is no longer safe its completely hacked.... there using ip routing and everything... ip says orange county california he really is in other state

and none of my info was saved in the database.... its complete client keylog...

 

Never liked powerbot and never will. I keep telling people what you stated in your first post but they deny it lol. Their loss right?

 

I've heard so much about people being hacked on PowerBot, yet I've been using White Bears Air Rune script for the past week and a half and still haven't been hacked.

 

it's not powerbot's client that hacks you.
it's viruses that you download with simple powerbot information stealers that get you hacked.
the main one was stealthbot.

 

Better safe then sorry i just deleted that shit from my comp. I have been using rsbuddy for a few days but i dont enter my user or pass in the client.

 

That's what I thought as well. Majority of the scripts are completely safe, though I'd still say use it at your own risk.

I've gotten 62 thieving and 47 mining easily, and I think i could get 99 almost any skill if I wanted to.

 

I use the iDungeon script and ive never been hacked...

 

powerbot went scam too then. i stopped using it awhile ago when the rumors about ghost/20b hacked and so on started.

It wasn't a client keylog. Gh0st has the database files of powerbot, which includes all user-entered information through clients. Effectively, he has a list of users/passes/bank pins. If you haven't changed your pass since then, then that's probably why you've been hacked.

 

i did change my password since the first hacking.... then i didnt imput any of my details into the client at all i did manual log in and still got hacked....

The guy told my friend that he see's every username logged into the client...
which is why he knows my pass now. or did i changed it and uninstalled powerbot and v swept my cp

 

I stopped using rsbot like a year ago. I was getting sick because of the corrupt staff.

 

I've been using powerbot for a while and still haven't got hacked, I think the people that got hacked just got hacked from Ghost's original list of usernames/passwords or still have the viruses from the earlier powerbots (you're supposed to delete them, I think ..)

 

Been telling people not to use that shitty bot, it's highly detectable and now unsafe to use.

 

I cannot believe this, the people who were involved must have made quite a lot of money, and now the successful powerbot is being destroyed, there are many suspicions on this matter. Goodbye PowerBot.

 

Ashame they were making enough money as it is.Now 80% of people probably stopped using them,they were always more famous for the best free bots.Me myself used to use them all the time,I never experienced to be hacked from them.
