Is it possible to trade Accounts made after Nov 2010?

Well Runescape made this new rule that all acounts made after Novemeber 24th I think of 2010 would have to be registered with emails and not usernames. So you log in with your email address instead of your name.

Now with that being said. The account will always have that attachment to your email no mater what, therefore no-one will buy these accounts because they can easily be recovered back through email.

And I also dont think theres anyway to unregister your email now if you created your account after this date.

I personally hate this because Ive recently made new accounts which I will train to sell later on.

Does anyone know anyway around this or if im tottaly wrong, please lmk

 

You can but you will have to give the email that is registered to it as well .

 

Not entirely sure, but it does seem a bit bleh for people looking to make more accounts to sell altogether(like getting stats up before selling, etc).

Most of the people I've seen using "new" accs to sell are people who just name hunt, so the buyer could just transfer the name(s) without the worry that would come by just keeping the account itself for further use.

 

Yep. Also, after 14 days or a confirmation, you can change the address it's registered too.

 

You have to provide with the email you have registered with the account. I have sold 2 accounts of that sort and I had to provide the people the 2 registered emails I had with them.

 

Well that is really gay, because thats I made mine from my college email so cant do that. Is there any other way around it?

 

Don't think so. Only thing you can do it create another account with a brand new email, train it and sell it with the email.

half the time a make an account, i dont even make the email to go along with it.

just give the other person the email account. resolves the issue

I guess you could always make a fake email.

Takes out that whole factor with a recovery/scam.

you could change the email adress in 14 days, but ye u need to trust the seller

 

its an effort by jagex to prevent rwt. however people always find ways around jagex's grasp's

 

If you plan on making an account to sell you can easily make an email in minutes to use.

 

As people have said you can request a change and it'll be changed after 14 days. I'd go and create a new gmail account now and put it on your account inplace of your college email and just give your buyer the gmail account.

 

It doesn't really stop any RWT going on.

Either make it a fake email, or preferably make a whole new email for each account you make.

Sure it might make people more sketchy about the trade, but people only want to buy from trusted sources, so be a trusted source and it'll never be a problem.

 

I got a guy to make two accounts for me and get them through tut.
One was @y.com, the other @sd.com (never heard of these domains)

after a few days the emails said No Longer Registered.

Dont know how it happened though

 

Just sell the email the account is registered to, or change it with a confirmation.
