Resident Evil 4 worth it?

I actually just got it from Netflix today and might watch it later tonight. Please tell me if it was worth waiting for or am I going to fall into utter disappointment? =|

I loved resident evil 1 was my favourite, did not like the 2nd one at all and the 3rd was alright for me, really looved Alice in this one.

 

I prefer the 4th to the 3rd, and I'm with you in saying the 1st was the best.

 

Well I'd say watch it. The ending was disapointing for me :/ but all in all its worth to watch it

 

I personally did not really like the fourth one. The second one was my favorite followed by the first one then then third. For me the fourth one was pretty disappointing.

 

The ending pretty much tells us there's going to be another movie. I liked it its really good! infact i like all the resident evils.

 

First was the best, but the 4th was still really good, I've always been a huge Resident fan too.

 

The 3rd one sucked balls. I personally wouldn't bother.

 

resident evil 4 is definitely worth watching. although the storyline trailed alot in my opinion, it was definitely good entertainment.

 

I think they're all worth watching, I love them all, but 4 is definitely good.

 

Only ever seen the 1st one seen many bad reviews on the follow-ups which put me off watching them.

Agree with you about the fourth one. Wow I must be really strict with this lol. Well I did see it a few weeks back and I have to say it really was alot worse than I thought. Couldn't really get the feel of resident evil anymore in this movie. Felt like another Matrix movie or something. Nothing special really =/ Had to actually say the 3rd one was alot better x.x

Yeah looks like it's going to be a war or something. Haven't played the games in a while so don't know where the story is going or if it's even related to the original storyline.

Agree that the 3rd one wasn't great but it was alot better than the 4th. Wish I never watched it but I just had to since when I see a movie I have to see the whole damn thing or I go crazy

Keep it that way then the other 3 really isn't worth watching.

Exactly how I felt about them. I thought 4 was alright. 1 was definitely the best but 4's pretty decent

 

4 is okay, it's better than the 3rd. Though yeah, 1st is the best.

 

I dont like it tbh.

 

The movies are terrible. They don't follow the storyline of the games at all, even from the very first movie. They made it an action superhero movie, not a survival horror movie like they should have. I could have settled with a different storyline if it were at least similar to the games.. but no, they gave her fucking super powers and shit. It's very stupid.

This is coming from a Resident Evil enthusiast though so I'm a little critical.

 

i would for sure spend the time to watch it.

Resident Evil 4 i.e Resident Evil Afterlife. I must say this should had a blockbuster movie. The 3d effect utilized was really attractive. I just loved it.
