Am I dreaming?

So basically I'm still trying to contemplate what the fuck happened, but basically, I was born with a disease that could've been cured when I was a baby. However, my doctor was bad and didn't catch it, so my parents sued the doctor for malpractice and won $115,000 for me when I am 18. Essentially, my parents waited until I'm 18(or I will be on Monday) to tell me this. So now, I'm wondering what should be done with it?(I don't get the money until the 17th of March from court after proving its me.)

Maybe buy something nice for yourself, then save the rest for college, etc.

Wow dude that pretty crazy to just hear about it now. I suggest saving it up and use some of it for something useful that when you look back on it in the future, you won't feel stupid on using it up for that.

So you're saying you now have $115,000 to yourself?! That's amazing! I would highly recommend investing the majority of it, maybe after setting aside a couple grand for spending money :laugh:
What kind of disease do you have though? Is it one that you notice every day or that's actually debilitating, or just one of those that can affect you later in life?

I actually dunno whats its called, but basically my neck is crooked. I had to get several surgeries to have it corrected up until ninth grade.

Anymore CD's aren't the way to go "low interest rates" If you knew how to play the stock market do that or buy some "real gold" gold coins and such.. Not the coins you see on those fake ass commercials either I'm talking about the ones that cost 1-2k

I would save some money on some things that you may be in need of.
You can also invest in stocks.
I would definitely put at least a few thousands in my education.
Make sure you save some of that money for later, you can buy clothes and electronics as well. Just don't go over the limit.
