So here's my story.. i've been scammed yesterday by user Raith Goes In (profile = http://sythe.org/member.php?u=285192 ) and i'm currently trying to get him banned and get my money back.

I'll write my progress here.

Day 1 : I sell him the cash, everything go well.
Day 2 : He make a claim on paypal and the money is now on hold.

His paypal address is verified and i decide to make a quick facebook search. I get this profile : http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=1314313783 .
Unfortunatly, he wont accept my friend request.
I notice that a lot of his friends go to 'Half Hollow Hills School East', wich is located in the State of NY.
I decide to search his last name on white pages in the state of NY and get a single result.
The person in question live 2 miles away from the school.
I now know the name of his father, his address and his job.
I'm quite sure that it is him. I contact the principal of his school.

Day 3 : The paypal claim is still not resolved. I get an answer from the principal of his school. I'm quite happy with the result.

My first thread in the Report a Scammer section get deleted. I post a new one.
My second post get deleted. I'm a bit pissed. I've sent a PM to one of the moderator and i'm now waiting for an answer.

He claim that his paypal got hacked. I personally think that he is bullshitting. I will try to find evidence that it wasnt. Personaly, it looked to me as he know exactly what's going on.

You just proved me that your paypal wasnt hacked. Thanks. He deleted this post like 3 minutes after posting it but i had enough time to quote him. GF.

Got an answer for the principal of his school. He told me that he was not allowed to share his contact details with me but, oh well, i already have them. He have contacted his local police and they told me to call my local police in order to pursue my case. I will call them and his father if paypal doesnt refund me.

According to n4n0, Raith's paypal account is limited and paypal put an hold on all his funds. I will wait and continue to update this thread. If i am mistaken and it's really not his fault i will close this thread and apology to him. MY ONLY CONCERN IS, IF HE IS REALLY LEGIT, WHY DIDNT HE TELL ME ABOUT IT AND WHY DIDNT HE OFFER TO GIVE ME MY RSGP BACK?

As you can see here, somebody made an unauthorized claim. i'm talking to n4n0 right now about it. i'll keep you updated.

As of now, n4n0 is trying to contact Raith in order to figure if he did the claim or not.

Got this email from Ted. I'll update this thread when i will see the money. It's been 3h and it's still not here, i'll check again right now. i'll PM Septicon and ask if he got a refund.

DAY 3 - So i wake up today and decide to check my paypal.. The money is still being held. I won't upload a picture for that since i already have one. User Septicon answered my PM. According to him, Ted did not refund him. Is he bullshitting? Still no answer from n4n0, too. I wonder who are the four people that got a refund. I'll try to contact him. In my opinion, he's still a jerk for trading with 6 and more people while he knew that there were problems with his paypal, if the problems were not just an overuse of the Claim function that got his account limited.

I figured that i'll donate the money that Ted stole me to Sythe plus a small extra if i ever get it back. Didnt get my money yet but i'll donate now. Waiting for Plznate to come online.

I come back from school and i see this:

From what i've understand, he did not tell his parents and he is challenging me to call them. I will have a talk with my lawyer tomorrow and call when i will have the time. Wish me good luck. He seems very confident about himself.

Day 4 - Nothing new, really. Still didnt receive the call. I might have a talk with my lawyer to see if there is something that can be done here. Also, to everybody who think that i'm an ass for posting this here, keep in mind that every info that i've gathered was open to everybody. It was already on the internet so you can stop telling me that i'm a stalker/harasser/jerk/asshole and etc. I've asked KerokeroCola to check my thread and here's what he think :

As of now, every troll will be reported. I'm not saying that you can't state your opinion, i'm just saying that you can keep it to yourself if it sounds like 'omfg ur such an ass for doing this fufufufufufu'

Day 5 - Nothing new. I didn't receive my money back yet as it is still beeing reviewed by paypal. I didn't call his parent yet because i'd rather wait to see what paypal will do before calling (i would hate to have them refund me to receive my money from paypal the next day). I'll keep you guy updated.

Ip tracer (will give you the state/city of the person in question) : I wont link it as some people report that it is unreliable. Google one. Just keep in mind that an ip tracer will NOT give you the exact location of the person, only the location of his ISP.
Facebook (enter his paypal email here. Its worth a try to be honest) : http://www.facebook.com/
White Pages (if you have his family name and location, enter that here and you'll know everything about your scammer) : http://www.whitepages.com/
Gmail (you CAN find the scammer's IP if he send you an email and you're using gmail) : http://gmail.com
