Java Drive-By Dispute

For some reason I couldn't get to the dispute forum, whether intentional or not, but I wanted this resolved so this is what I did. Forgive me.


I am writing this to appeal my recent ban for a Java Driveby. I know what it looks like, but if you look back on the posting history you will see that it is not me. I was browsing the forums today and I saw a post saying that if I joined the peacescape server I would recieve 20m, so I reactively clicked on the link and realized that I was being attacked by a java driveby. I had never had this occur before, and I really didn't know what was going on until I read the post directly under the OP saying not to click it. I instantly posted asking what I should do, but no answer came. No immediate effects took place on my computer and my avast scan didn't find any problems, so I didn't think anything was wrong. I continued to browse the Sythe forums, until I started to notice a lot of PMs coming to me asking for a free 20m. I didn't understand what was going on until it hit me that I whatever I was infected with was reposting on Sythe. It is evident in my replies to the peacescape servers that I was trying to warn people. I reformatted my computer around 1 or 2 hours ago and found that not only did I lose every file on my computer, but I also was banned from Sythe. Please help.

(Account is Safe....was never hacked. Just The driveby literally reposted while I was logged in on Sythe. I wasn't hacked, just whatever program I "downloaded" if you will posted it for me while I was browsing the forums).

I cannot say whether or not his account was hacked, but he did in fact post the drive by that I edited out.

After reviewing the IP on which he posted though, it links to 6-7 other members as well, and is not his usual ISP. If he was RATed, would the other person posting from the account show up as xonerates IP or the hacker?

Why I was Banned: Java Driveby
Why it was Wrong: I did not preform the Java Driveby. I Fell victim to the Driveby, and then in turn the program or hacker reposted the Driveby on my account. The posts were about the fictitious Peacescape server.

Unbanned, other accts on that hackers ip were banned for drive bys as well
