How to make PayPal a safe way to donate.

A safe way to use PayPal as a donation system would be eBay.

Heres how it would work.

The person controlling the eBay account would set up a buy it now for a $5 donation, $10 $25 donation $50 $75 $100, then a Auction donation for whatever you want to donate.

You then put the shipping and handling at $1.50, so the person has buying the donator has to pay the fees of what it cost to put the buy it now auction up.

If they then try to recover their money, you've valid proof that an actual trade was done through PayPals website, and it will be near impossible for them to get their money back.

I know this might have been confusing, but I just thought I'd post it.

Why not just accept PayPal donations straight from the member, but just make a waiting period of 45 days until they actually get the rank. I realize this is a long wait, but there's no way to lose money on this.

 

True, but it's the dumbest idea in the world, and no one would donate using PayPal if it came to this.

 

PA would be better choice but then again they have pretty large fees and ebay is a little less depending on how much.

 

Either PA or eBay would be a great method. I support.

I do some of my higher trades through eBay sometimes and I must say that I prefer it + I don't mind paying the fees as it's for the protection
