But I have a note on the payment from him. The notes are the ones that say this payment is for blah blah I will not chargeback etc. Will I win the dispute?

I have the EXACT same problem, I've been waiting 2 days now to find out.
I'm pretty sure we'll win the dispute.

Also, does anyone have any information on PayPal sending letters to your home?
I heard they only do that if you owe them 200$ +

Chances are no. Depends how he sent the payment, did he send it via a phone? + there are so many ways to con paypal and thus say you weren't in control of the account.

I'm currently waiting on the $3000 someone is trying to claim back from me, things aren't looking good :(

Give me more information and I'll be able to tell you your odds.

    1. Screeny the resolution center.
    2. Screeny the details of the dispute.
    3. Sender verified/unverified?

    Thanks.

I think with Western Union you need government approved photographic ID.

Moneybookers also looks ok, but i dont think too many people on sythe use it as its mostly just used in the UK.

To get unverified and able to send money is just to link a credit card not a bank account to the paypal.

You can send money from an un-verified paypal if you create it from "New Zealand" or "Canada" I believe. As for your dispute, if he sent it from his phone (it should say that in the note), then chances are, you will lose it.
Notes, for the most part, don't do too much at all.

Thats really unfortunate. But if he doesn't use a phone then the chances of him winning the dispute go down? I wish there was something better we could all use. I feel like anymore people are just down with ripping each other off. Kinda sad. Well that decides it for me Ill refuse to anyone not trusted anymore.

If he doesn't use a phone, your chances of winning are increased, although, still slim. Player auctions is a good way to keep your money safe, check it out :).

One thing that the OP should try and do, is call paypal. By calling paypal, he seems like the more legitimate person in the trade. Although, the outcome of a positive result will still be slim.

You probably shouldn't be selling accounts and then recovering them then should you.

It's pretty disgusting how you ppl are wishing him goodluck.

Ever occur to you that he scammed ppl and deserved to have the money taken back?

I got my money back from Paypal too, AND I called them and talked to a really nice woman who is now going to flag his Paypal account and do a fraud investigation. Awww....

    Tisk tisk, shouldn't scam ppl.

Honestly it's a toss up... One time I sold something to someone (had them pay as a gift).

Some how my MSN shutdown right is I sent it and they thought I scammed so they claimed their money.

I then got back on MSN (after I had sent them the guide) and they apologized ect ect. He then asked how I wanted to do the trade and I said I will just refund him by telling paypal that I wish to accept his cancel as I didn't send the gifts.

I clicked the thing that says "I have not yet send items/please refund him"

10 days later the case was resolved and they decided I won?
