In regards to the 'User Education' section

If you talk to basically anyone on the administrative team, they'll probably tell you the same thing about the UE section: It's pointless.

Now, I'm not in any way trying to persuade you to change your stance on the issue. By all means, keep your opinions. But either way, there are quite a few people in this community that truly enjoy the section. With that being said, I think it's fair to ask that the staff still give this particular section the respect it deserves.

Again, with this all being said, I think the UE section deserves a new HUE. Greg's a busy man, and I understand that, but the time it takes him to do simple things is ridiculous. I know of multiple people, including myself, that have had to wait multiple days for their applications to even be moved to pending, let alone voted on. I rarely ever see him commenting on guides, or simply being active in that section.

He's a great market mod, for sure, just not a fantastic HUE. Why not have the HUE either A) have no other moderating positions so their time is purely focused on that particular section, or B) have multiple HUE's.

 

Last couple of months ago, the section seemed to be doing pretty well, The SytheMonthly thing seemed great, now it seems that the section is dying, a new fresh pair of hands running it I think wouldn't go amiss.

 

I agree with you, i can name one person who is UE atm and i think he deserves HUE definitely. I don't want to post names though.

 

I agree with this aswell. I don't look there very often but when I do I don't really see Greg there a lot, no offense to him though.

 

I agree with you Sanctuary. We need to show that the User Education section is more than just a rank. A new Head User Educator would help the section. With a new HUE, we can get more things done. More decisions regarding User Education, applications, etc. I'm not saying Greg is a horrible Head User Educator. He is not bad, he's a great moderator. I just don't think he frequents User Education. If he picks up his activity I know he would make a great HUE.

P.S. I think FishFishy would make an exceptional Head User Educator.

That's what Magic Arrow used to be. I do not see a problem with having Greg as a HUE still, but adding another one could be a good idea (the UE section seems to run smoother with 2+ HUE's). I would like to see Magic Arrow come back as a HUE, he proved his worth to get the position earlier.

 

Magic Arrow did a fantastic job, I would love to see him back.

 

I agree; Greg has been very busy with IRL stuff lately and could use the help in that section.

 

I'm willing to return to HUE, if the staff allow me to.

 

I really don't understand why Greg took Marrow's spot in the first place if he was only a temp >.>, and then why didn't Marrow take Dalpra's spot when Dalpra left.

Seems common sense to me, Marrow left to let Dalpra take his place, dalpra left creating a space, Marrow fills Dalpra's space. Don't know why (if Marrow takes the space) this long to fix it.

 

Because the administrative team doesn't appear to give a rats ass about the UE section.

 

Excuse me, I attempted to try to get them to vote for a 2nd HUE and it went right down "hell no boulevard"

I tried and got no cooperation.

 

Frankly in the end it isn't the administrators problem, its the UE's problem. Whenever Greg selects someone who he would like as a 2nd HUE they will be sent to us for approval, until then sit tight, thanks
