Planet could be unrecognizable by 2050

Yeah this is scary, but this speculative anthropology is not absolutely accurate. There are tonnes of theories like this flying around, who knows what the world will be like? Predictions are based on spotting previous trends and estimating things in the future from this, however if we had any faith in humanity we could argue that we will do something to stop this happening?

 

They're giving a pretty general assessment in that article. We know the world won't look the same in 2050 because of all the new technology and renovations bound to happen but they don't want to fully commit to that statement by saying it will, just in case they're wrong. Interesting none the less

 

look at the history, the world is constantly changing and the more it changes the more it stays the same

 

Whatever, I'll be 68 by then and totally won't care.

 

Stop giving the food and money to the people that shouldn't be having kids in the first place.. You got parts of Africa where everybodies dirt ass poor but having 3 kids a year like that's going to help their financial situation. Keep the food out here and make them work for it. By showing them that the rest of the world is just going to hand everything to them, were furthering the idea that they don't need to do anything to survive

That is a huge possibility for those living in America. There's a lot of people that don't like us and we are one of the most wasteful countries in the world. not to mention that we're controlled by corporations that see us as more of a problem than anything. The big dogs realize that in order to further their existence, they need to get rid of a lot of people. what better way than to eradicate a whole country? And what better place to start than a country that has been controlled by corporations and businesses ever since the first pilgrimage sponsored by the East India Company. Our country is under private ownership by people on the other side of the world.

I guess ill stop there, but my main point is that We the People do not decide our fate as a nation and considering how the choices we make daily are looked at by the rest of the world, we're not really in a good position.

 

I just thank God that I will be dead before the World falls COMPLETELY apart.

 

The end of humanity won't be by an apocalyptic crisis, a disease epidemic, etc... It will be overpopulation. Maybe even Genocide like stated above.

AP Environmental Science study- it's all about how we're consuming resources, growing exponentially, ruining and sustaining the environment, and protecting the environment.

 

The population rise also contributes to more toxic air, by 2050 i've also read that the earth's air will be thick and more polluted than you can imagine. If we dont get rid of our cars and factorys, its what will happen.

OT: So much will happen by then such as huge advances in technology and other things that it might not even be something to worry about.

 

WW3 is about to start... Living in the united states our "Defense Program" Is a great offense. Have a feeling that within the next 20 years this war were in now is going to turn into something WAY bigger then we ever expected.

OT: Yah it is kind of scary but life is scary all good things must come to a end. It's like any species of animals. When in a habitat and given the chance to grow because of no predators then species will eventually kill itself off because it will run out of food, thus returning the cycle back to normal.

I think our "RETURN TO CYCLE" is going to be humans killing each other off, mass collapse and chaos. When this happens I'm gonna go to Hawaii build myself a shack and live off the land in a beautiful tropical place for the rest of my life =) oh and drink a lot haha.
