difference between pin and upgrade ?

what is the difference as the threads title says


how do you know when a person is selling a pin how do you know when they are selling a upgrade ?

is there even a difference sounds to me like sythe has something against the word pin lol

A PIN IS an upgrade, just for legal terms they can't be listed as pins, but account upgrades.

 

yeap just ask for the pins dont let them do it otherwise you might get your account hacked lol

 

Basically, an upgrade is a service that you're buying, while pin is something in particular like an item or something that you can't really resell. That's a way for Sythe to overcome some of the Jagex's regulations.
