Playing RS at school/work?

Hello All!

I work at a High School as an IT tech... i generally get the same internet filtering as the students but with a few perks, however i just logged into Runescape and can play my accounts.

Previously it never got past our proxy server. Meaning even if a student can get to runescape.com it wouldn't load the game.

Is anybody else experiencing this? This is the first time i've tried to open RS since last year.

i work at an airport and the computers they let us use are super blocked. butttt they do not frown upon bringing your laptop into work. we get major breaks between planes landing/taking off like 1-2 hours a few times a day. so at some point in time every work day i am getting paid irl to play runescape...win!

 

Yeap , When I was at school like NO game sites worked , until we all got CS 1.6 portable and CS condition zero portable, Halo portable on usb flash drives and had massive lans in tourism which was our "Bum around" subject , the teach also joined , He was a good cunt LOL.

 

I just went to a proxy, downloaded Ultrasurf and played Runescape through their.
Fail thing about it is that it's run on Internet Explorer

 

at my work, the computer in our store can be taken control of at any time by the people working in the main office so I'm afraid to use it lmao, worst part is my job is nothing but downtime and it would be perfect runescape time ~.~

 

What? I did not understand what you meant. That the filter usually wouldn't let you play runescape and now it does?

 

yep. last year with the old runescape loading screen with like.. the 'red bar' looking thing would get stuck and eventually an IE error referring to our proxy sever would pop up.

And now it loads all the way 0.0

 

Yea, in my college alot of people use ultra surf, but i never get time sop i just come on the forum instead.

 

I can easly ioen rs at my school, but i just bot at home

 

It doesn't have to run in IE.

If you look at the options it will work even without it.

 

just download ultrasurf when u want to play any game

 

Runescape works perfect in my school, You'd be surprised how many people play it daily where i'm at.

 

Alot of people play it in my school.
I personally don't because I find it boring now

 

Well if i could get through barracuta i would be able to play... If runescape was to use https instead of http it might work like how facebook is not blocked cause of https and the one they blocked is http

Well seeing as I'm a delivery driver, no I cannot play rs and work But I do make mad tips and get to smoke weed and listen to music on my job, which is way better imo. I just let my bots run when I'm at work/sleep/out/and when I'm around I'll usually play legit, because i still enjoy the game haha.

 

My school blocks everything, and no proxies have java so i can't play rs in my comp apps class. i may have to try ultrasurf
