What Grinds My Gears

Well America isn't just Americans "FYI". America is made up of many different people and cultures. The first settlers were from Europe "Besides the Indians/vikings". So stealing? I think not blame your / our ancestors for making it what it is today. Our ancestors must have thought something was wrong with "MUM" or they wouldn't have changed it? So before you go saying America stole this and that just remember my ancestors were from YOUR part of the world and THOSE are the people that made America what it is today. History a fabulous thing.

I have every right saying "Mom" is the correct spelling is because that's how its spelled that's how I spell it. Just like you have every right saying "mum" is correct. What you don't have the right is trying to insult my culture because I must have offended you in the statements above.

I also believe a mum is a flower to add to the list of meanings. I been looking it up didn't say anything about language must be unofficial accepted "slang" where your from?

Agreed, just because some people are stupid/obnoxious doesn't mean all of them are. For instance, there was that church that was going to burn the Quoran. That's both racist and stupid, because the Quoran doesn't say THOU SHALT BECOME A TERRORIST.

This thread is bad and you should feel bad.

 

Why should I feel bad? because someone tried to force their ideals on me after the fact I told them how I feel, especially while I was eating. That person had no right to do what he did.
