We need a official Price Check forum/sub-forum

Hey,
I find that when you post on the "official price check thread" you don't get answered and there are too many posts coming in to answer. So I think that Sythe should make a forum or sub-forum for price check, as other people suggested there will be no post count in this section as spammers and people just looking for post counts will target this section. This may have some problems but I'd say you'd be able to figure it out.

I have always agreed with everything said in this post.

 

It's a great suggestion actually. I've seen more people post to see what they're account is worth, than people answer.

 

I like the idea actually, so support.

 

I'll elaborate on my thoughts:

Create a price check sub-forum. People make a thread about their account; it gets price checked. This makes it really easy to organize, rather than having a half-dozen individual topics with a big massive block of scattered posts. (Currently, the way it is, it's very difficult to see whose price check was answered and whose was not.) In order to weed out spam and people repeating the price quote, post count won't be raised in the forum.

 

So basically kind of like what Spyike had? Just add a sub-category for each account section?

 

^^ Sure, if that's why Spyike had, then yes. I don't know if a sub categoryis necessary though.

 

I really don't see why we don't have this already, no one really uses the price check threads because no one answers in them.

I agree, the Account Price Checker thread rarely gets checked. The Price Checker in the Non Virtual market rarely gets checked.

I think it should be like the MiddleMan forum, except Price Check.

Seems sensible, see enough misplaced threads in wrong sections. Support so long as post-count isn't raised.

Not many people would use it so it would end up being a waist of time.

 

I think quite a few people would actually use it, it would be more noticeable than the stickies and the stickies are a waste of time right now anyway because no one really uses them.

 

Not needed imo, if you take a look at the 'price check' section on PB you'll see it's a big failure (Nobody replies to threads, and those who do are trolls).

 

It's worth a try. Anyway, it's a totally different community, so you never know.

 

I'm for this as well, I think it would be more suitable. Can you add a poll to your original post?
