TLDR



Sitting at lunch with a friend I was confronted by a person trying to sell church to me (someone I didn't know). I forget exactly what they said word for word but it had to do about something with god and I asked them to please leave me alone and calmly told them that I don't believe in god anyways, then went back to eating my food.

The person with disgust on their face immediately got defensive about this and started questioning what was said and questioning my beliefs and what direction I'm going in life. Pretty much told me I was going to hell and that I was ignorant for being so closed minded. I told him to get the f*ck away from me and mind your own business.

Point of the story is why do some people feel the need to press religion on people? I have the right to believe whatever I want. Do Christians really think they are better then everyone else because they believe is some crazy ass idea that was developed back in the day by some dude then churches used it to have order and control over people?

I think the bible and religion is a great concept and to be honest with you I think Buddhism makes more sense then anything (maybe ill be Buddhist). But you don't see Buddhist coming up to you trying to sell Buddhism to you then when you ask them to get away criticize you. For some these Christian crusaders lately have been crossing the line. Like for real I'm happy you believe in something so deeply but when someone doesn't want to hear your shit don't press it on them.

Anyways thanks for reading had to get that off my chest!.

For the record. I'm really not atheist just undecided/open minded. There could be a god and the couldn't be one. haha who knows I don't
