Range Tank Staking

Hey guys, back in the day (2+ years ago?) I used to range tank stake.
I'm wondering if it's still popular, and what stats are most frequently used?

I was thinking of something with 60 defense because if I was low enough exp with 60 defense, I wouldn't show up on the hiscores?

I don't see why not. Just 99 range 80-90 hp and 70 defense for some barrows or 75 for rune cbow and dfs or 80 for the dungeoneering shield.

 

Range staking nowadays is done with Morrigans axes, which will run you about 400k+ each

as for the morrigan's axes, that must be only for very high stakes than I'm guessing?

 

Armor on is run by def and hp, not range levels.

Pking is higher ranged.

Armor off staking however is higher hp then slightly lower range.

Thanks Hostile, yeah I know.. but range is also required
especially in fights with only a few pieces of armour..
