BJ could've easily won that fight. Even if lost the last round, if he could have muscled out a 10-9 he still would've won. He looked like he didn't even give a shit in the last round which is one reason I hate to watch BJ fight. If he gets discouraged at all he curls up and takes it right in the ass.

I wanted him to win. I had given the edge to BJ overall, especially stand up but he decided to take Fitch down which was astonishing.


Also, I've already made my predictions for 128 I think. I did a big write up on it.


Had a fight last night at a local club's fight night. First round submission via triangle I won. Dude was a wrestler with a big neck.

 

B.J should have stood up with Fitch more.... :L

 

So was the fight commisioned, or was just for people to watch? Congratulations though.

 

Meh thats how Bj is, one fight he'll look outstanding, another fight he wont. Dana said it himself, which BJ was going to come out that night.

Seems like for the first 2 rounds we saw the BJ we wanted to see, the 3rd he gave up......again.

Lol I laughed when Marquardt said he worked up a "Sweat"
Weidman is a monster, who also apparently had a classic match against Andre Galvoa ( a great bjj practicioner, if you didnt know) after 1 year of formal bjj training.

 

I love UFC it's by far my favourite sport. I also train at a martial art called Taekwondo, my fav UFC fighter has to be GSP George St Pierre .

 

Well that looks great, and Marquardt was clean tho, it was just sweat.

As the fights go long its harder and harder to submit people cause of the sweat

 

It was a sanctioned fight. Very small payout unfortunately but hey, thats the minor league for you.

 

Thats cool still. Good experience, you trying to become pro, or you just fighting for fun.

 

Whats the payout exactly? I would like to know. You know medical bills and all, those arent cheap in the U.S.

 

Im as well hoping to compete in a year or so when I am confident in my abilities. I have been training MMA 2 times a week for about a year now.

 

It was $250 plus $50 submission of the night honors.

I mean I'd love to become pro. I wouldn't mind fighting in a smaller organization but I fight at 145 and I weigh 160. I know the UFC just drafted over the smaller guys from WEC, so that leaves little room for new prospects in the division.

 

Get the win streaks going, the UFC loves finding new prospects, and 145 is a pretty tough division. Well all of them are, but whats your specialty?
