sniping in free trade

Before, the only reason items with street price sold in the GE for GE price, was because they didn't have any junk to sell it for its street. Now, you dont need junk, so you can sell it for whatever you want.

 

How can sniping even exist anymore now that there's no limits on the GE? Before the point of sniping was to attempt to get items that were impossible to buy on the ge because of the limits, but now that you can buy for whatever price you want, it seems to me that sniping is obsolete now...

It is possible, you can still buy items for guide price that have a street price that are over the guide price (divines, torva, pernix, vitus, ect).

I'm selling a guide for it haha.

 

I don't snipe, but I am making around 75m/day from merchanting hehe.

You snipe by buying items (such as divines, torva, ect) which have a high street price compared to the guide price. There is a method to buy the items for guide price (kinda like sniping) even though they don't sell for less than 300m above the guide price. THAT is how it works.
