What happens if 2 players stake max cash?

How does the winner take the money?

 

It probably won't allow it in the first place.

Maximum stake is 50% of max cash.

 

Guess Jagex thought of this a long time ago lol.

 

It used to be if you won it would go on the floor under you and you could run bank your cash go back and pick up. Same with if you won 50m and had max cash in invy as an example. But nowdays with the servers being so unpredictable it's not really smart dc and gf max cash. It also seems now the time for it to show up to other players have shortened atleast in wildy anyway little looters -.-

 

This is proved wrong in Win All Day's newest video. There are several 1750m stakes.

 

I reckon it'll just get dropped on the floor, as nz killa suggested.

 

Because he puts that in for a party hat or other items, or the other way around.

 

i can tell you what happens. iit will appear on the floor right under where you respawn after the duel. you will have to haul ass to the bank, deposit the cash, and run back to get it. saw it happen on a vid.

I don't understand why there is even a max cash...

 

^ It's because of something along the lines of Java not being able to handle more than 2.147b, though JaGex has stated many times that it is able to remove that limit

 

Never thought of that, but I guess the above response answered the questions lol

There was a guy ranting on the rs forums about it. Basically what happened to him is the other guy lost it but he got no money what so ever. I don't know if Jagex has changed this yet though.

Nope. He was whining cause he won a 50m stake with max cash in his invy, just clearing that all up for everyone, this guy was not staking max cash.
