Im just sick of all the newcomers / leechers (overall : non trusted members ) post threads like this ....

'BUYING 10BIL , I WILL NOT GO FIRST YOU GO FIRST OR YOU PAY OMM FEES I JUST GOT SCAMMED 100000000000BIL SO I CANT TRUST ANYONE !'

I suggest those threads get closed immediately .. because im just sick of this .

If i would buy gold , i would atleast pay OMM fees . (this should be a RULE !) BUYER SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE TO PAY FEES (IF ONE NEEDED ).
-> If they have enough money to buy the gold then they have enough money to pay an OMM or atleast buy like 10mill less gold to pay the OMM !

This will be safer for BUYER and SELLER ! :O



Those are just scammers... And i think with this new rule alot of scammers would be reduced and simply go to HELL!

 

Its come to the point that if someone refuses a OMM to multiple users and absolutely refuses to go first and refuses to verify their items in game I just ban them. Cut to the chase.

 

Thank you FireZ. I agree it's becoming a pain now. Some one adds me to sell me some gold and we spend like 15 minutes getting it all ready and then they say "Go first I'm not using an omm and I'm not going first". Such a waste of time. >.<

 

I like what FireZ said, makes sense. Leecher can't just join website and expect to go second, I really hate seeing all the threads exactly as stated above except I tend to see them more "buying 10 bil will not go first" lol, it sickens me. Then some mod or OMM comes on wishing to buy and they say he's not trusted enough.. where does it end?

 

It's not fair to penalise people for not wanting to pay OMM fees.
Just find a reasonable MM that has done plentiful amounts of high MM trades in the MM section. It's bursting with potential candidates.

 

Im sick of newcommers asking me to go first and when they say "If you dont trust me its your problem so you pay for omm" when you are actually more trusted that him and YOU are selling the product...

 

No support at all. If I don't want to use an OMM, then that's my decision, and I shouldn't get penalized for it.

 

This is why sythe.org will be loaded with scammers

 

I follow FireZ's line of thinking, if a person looks like a scammer, acts like a scammer, and has several accusations of being a scammer, they get the ban hammer.

 

Alot of new people dont understand fully how the mm system works just educate them thats all dont hate on them for being new they cant help it

If a buyer and a seller agree to a price and the buyer is willing to pay for a OMM but the seller absolutely refuses one and refuses to go first, send me proof I will hammer them all day long for intention to scam and suspicious activity.

Especially when the buyer has 100+ decent $ vouches.

And yea, it's stupid. I just ignore it all. As if they don't go first or agree to a OMM (I even offer to use a admin from here, and they "dont trust anyone"), it's 99.99% chance they are scamming.

Back when I first joined, I wouldn't have wanted to go first or pay for an OMM. If these are your key traits of a scammer then where is your God now?

 

I only use this very rarely and it is more or less a culmination ban at that point. If they refuse to verify items and refuse a OMM and try to force everyone to go first, goodbye imo.

Maybe if it continues twc's are more appropriate. A little deeper then a simple refusal of OMM/MM is needed, my fault for not mentioning that.

 

But you've got the trust to back it up, you aren't a newcomer from February with 12 posts refusing to go first or use a MM or any sort.

 

While were at it, what is some of you guys definition of "suspicious activity" that would warrant a ban?

 

What? If I were to sell a blue phat, i wouldn't want an mm, i'd want sythe mming it if anything, otherwise no thanks. If it were a cheap trade then yes, but in this case that's kind of dumb. No offence to you.

 

Then it's simple, find a new buyer/seller.

You can't just whip out the banhammer if you have a "gut feeling" or suspicion someone MIGHT scam in the future. Seems a bit elitist.

 

We won't and haven't thus far, banned anyone for simply refusing MM's and OMM's. Our job is to execute scammers, and occasionally we have to make a judgment call.

Its definitely not our "green light" to ban how we want, that we can't do but suspicious activity needs to be defined.
