Gamer dies after three-day session

Lol, i get bored after like an hour

 

I have to take a break every hour or so, just my nature. IE Get a drink, eat, go to the bathroom, something like that. So I hope I'm in no danger. The most I've done is like, 14 hours. And that was painful. I couldn't go 3 days... Well.. neither could he, but still. I couldn't go probably 20 hours.

 

I don't know how people can go that long, knowing they NEED to nourish they're body. Better off in the longrun taking a break and doing what your body needs, then going back to gaming, whether your the biggest addict or not.

It's sad that things like that happen, though I'm interested in what game he was playing.

 

Wow, I remember a long time ago where someone died from a 3 day game sesh. It was partially in fault by the energy drinks he consumed.

 

That is very sad. I would not like to see that happen to anyone else. Of course games are addicting and fun, but you have to remember the world you live in.

 

This reminds me of that episode on South Park where they played WoW nonstop and pretty much messed their bodies up (yeah its a cartoon but you get the idea). Does suck though I mean sometimes people do get obsessed at anything you can imagine. It is really addicting as well, when you set a certain goal or just gameplay.

 

I bet his runescape account was rockin.. But in all seriousness that's sad.. Wth do some people think.

Its really shocking as well as sad... Weren't there people in the Cafe who were working there? o_o' This is in China I believe so I wouldn't be so surprised.

I've heard of some epic no-lifing stories, but DAMN. I don't understand how in a situation your survival instincts wouldn't kick in and force you to get some food and water...

 

Wow 3 days that is crazy. The longest I have ever played a game was when Aion beta first came out. I went for 13 hours straight. After that I crashed because I was so tired. I don't know how he can go for 3 days....

I've heard of the couple that died while playing Fable for like 4 days or something like that. That was pretty... Uh... Unfortunate?
