I don't see why you should have 2 threads since both are linking to RSU, just have one thread and whoever is online bumb that thread. If you make multiple threads, everyone else is going to do it and is going to cause a big mess.

Okay, well you're correct, I still don't understand. If there is only one person on selling gold at a time, then if that person bumps the RSU thread, everyone will know that they are the ones online selling gold?

I know you said you wouldn't mind merging threads, but Finn and HHN find it easier this way. I can kind of understand HHN, if he does in fact have his own stock and uses your website and the payment portal, but if Finn uses RSU stock, usies RSU live chat and uses RSU's payment gateway, why does he need another thread? Can't he post in the main RSU thread 'I am on live support selling gold'?

That may be true to Grave or Hahanerd only (whoever bought the link), since in the rule it says "not allowed in signatures or anywhere on the site unless you pay for a link." it only allows that 1 person who bought the link to use it. Meaning everybody else who does have it technically deserve a 1 month ban, as stated by the rules.

Not necessarily true, yesterday I wanted to get some skill training done and saw Kero's and Rsultimate's thread. Seeing both of them on the first page (Rsulitmate one third done the page and Kero's hallf way down the page.) In kero's thread it says Kero works for rsultimate. Therefore you do have two threads on the same page.

Granted I did post on Kero's thread, but both threads were still on the same page before my post.

Already had Finn talk to Richard about it and he said it would be fine from my understanding. I'll have him recheck.

I wasn't even aware Kero has a thread. I don't handle skill training anymore so I let Kero do whatever he wants. I was assuming we were only talking about the gold sales.

Everyone already does this, but as I explained there's two exceptions.
Hahanerd: He sells an entirely separate stock he gets from OMMing.

Finn: It's his preference. He doesn't want people contacting other people's MSNs when they aren't on and wants people to only contact him directly through live chat. He believes he can maximize his commission this way, since it is kind of a competition between my different sellers. I would talk to him for his full reasoning as I can only making an inference.

Regardless of how this turns out, I just went through the last page of your thread and there are about 9-10 bumps today from various rsu employees. This needs to stop; the 1 bump per 24 hours applies per thread, not per member. THIS INCLUDES MODERATORS. Please tell your guys to stop all this excessive bumping.

Alright your fine with your next one, but you are def one of the guys that my message on the thread was aimed at, deleting then re bumping 6 times in a day is definitely crossing the line.

I always thought of it as an advantage that any member can use. If deleting then re bumping is not allowed, then it should be put so specifically on the rules.

-Incessantly bumping a topic to get it to the top of the forum. (Wait until the topic has died before bumping.)

Also, if you're going to go warn us about something on our thread that's not stated in the rules, you should do it in everyone elses threads too.

You know know what, grow up. Bumping a topic then deleting it so you can bump it again 8 times in a day crosses the line; you are a big boy and have been on Sythe long enough to know that by now. Report the other threads if you see it as well and handle it, you are a mod too. But as a mod, you need to follow the same standards. Quit playing dumb and just play by the rules like everyone else needs to. This is getting ridiculous.

I've told Finn to come back to our thread if he wishes and have also told Hahanerd to close his thread. I'll go ahead and cooperate even though all the blame seems to be on RSU. As for the excessive bumps, I've told my employees to stop. However, the advertisements will remain in our signatures as I believe I have the right to them. I'm not going to retaliate on other sellers even though they've committed similar mistakes as ours.

Just please leave me alone about all this. I've already had enough shit happen today, thanks.

I'm not trying to attack you, so stop taking it the wrong way. If you're going to come on our thread and warn us, go to everyone elses.

Also, I'm saying if it's not stated in the rules, why can't any member use it to their advantage?

Handled the other thread you pointed out as well. I am not attacking RSU, just your employees seem to be breaking the rule most frequently. If you see it occurring elsewhere, pm me and it will be handled there as well.

It is in the rules, just cause it does not say "you can not bump a thread, then delete the post, then bump it again" does not mean that it is not considered bumping.

Everyone needs to take a freaking chill pill and quit fighting and arguing, just follow the rules and have some respect for each other and some professionalism, follow the rules and all will be well.

I think it would be best if this thread was locked until a decision is made about the original poster's concern. It's turned into a flame war and off-topic.

Agreed. For now the multiple threads of OPs who are affiliated with RSU are fine, however the excessive bumping and spamming going on in the various gold selling threads (NOT just RSU, the others as well) need to stop. If anyone sees this being abused, please PM me and I will personally handle it, regardless of whatever gold selling affiliation you have.

As far as the original poster's concerns go, I have considered the issue (whilst on the toilet a few moments ago, incidentally) and have concluded that more than one thread per collective is probably inappropriate.

I think this post is duly insightful and the second suggestion is one we should all seek to adhere to. I have removed my individual thread and will request that my thread be merged into the overarching collective thread as a sub-section of it. As of now, each collective business group should have a single thread divided into sections where needed.
