What's best to do when getting reported?

Tell me about your experiences when getting reported while botting?
Is there a way to trick jagex that you weren't botting?

 

Start talking to everyone etc doing something different like play a game of Castlewars or something that will make it look like you're a real human playing and not a bot

 

If you actually see them say "reported", then just turn off your bot instantly, and play legit/lay low for a few weeks. Personally, if someone is following me around, I turn off my bot. I have public chat off all the time, so I turn it on and ask them why they're following me around, and they usually say "Oh, shoot, sorry. Bye." I then play legit for a while after that.

 

I keep chat on while botting and babysitting, If/when I see someone say "*name* is botting*" i'll wait a bit and as soon as they change theme I'll strike them with an offensive sentence ending it by "No one said ignoring suckers is breaking any laws" or something in that way.


And after that I turn the bot on, it would be 10 times more suspicious if I all of a sudden change play style completely when reported.

 

I would recommend playing legit for a while

 

Bot for a few more minutes, then do quests/hard to bot minigames

 

If it's a throwaway account, continue botting. If not, stop and play for a while.

 

Very dumb suggestion, because if someone reprots you, the damage has been done. Playing legit for a few weeks will solve nothing. They will check the report and see if you were playing from a different client and check what you were doing. Only way you'll get lucky is if you just started botting 10 minutes before the report.

Not really. If you're using something like an expensive rsbots.net bot or RiD and it messes up somehow, it's very hard to detect that you were botting in the first place. So, if you make even more humanlike decisions in the coming time that they (most likely) monitor your account after the report, they'll most likely just shrug it off as you misclicked and it led to a problem or something. Same thing happened to me a few months ago, botting 99 fishing. I accidentally left the window size on re-sizable, and it saw the fishing spot through the inventory, so it tried clicking on it and got stuck. Now, if I was using a very crappy bot, they'll analyze my decisions, and notice my bot-like movements. If I was using a nice, humanlike, paid bot, they'll analyze my decisions and deduce I was a human, but misclicked for a second, thinking I forgot and tried to click through the inventory, or something along the lines of that. Or, I'll just get banned/let off the hook by their report robot.

 

Lol I am in the same boat. I had been botting 15hrs and about 3hrs ago I check on my bot from my phone and I see "are you guys botting? sad kids". I was worried because the kid was long gone, and I had been reported already.

I don't know if it helps but I was talking to someone for literally 2 minutes about 30minutes before I was reported. I still think I might get banned because I didn't turn the bot off. Also my ip say "vps.****.com" so I might get banned for using a vps. I say this because most vps users are botters lol.

 

idk if i come back and there is some kid calling me a bot i usually tell him to go fuck himself and then goto ge buy some shit and start bot again lol

 

You don't need to lay low for a few weeks. Maybe a few hours or a day.

I've been reported a zillion times, and haven't been reset/banned.

 

the best thing to do after being reported is to just play legit for a week.

 

lol this happened to me, some bitch was fucking around with my bot when i came and checked on it, placing box traps before i could while hunting chins, so i just told her to fuck off and started botting again 3 feet away lol.

 

Why the hell would you play legit for a few weeks? !@!!! lol Jagex dos'nt care about one report but if you're getting like 5-6 then you should play legit for like 30 minutes to an hour...
