Click on ANYTHING, that asks you run anything in java. Be careful of any links you click on. I hope you're aware of the term "Java Drive By" Yes? Well it's far more serious than any of you are aware. I had to do a complete system restore and malware malbytes 5 times to get rid of the damn thing for being such an idiot. Took me a few days.

Not only did he steal ALL of my rsgp on all of my accounts, except my 200M (thank god) that was protected via bank pin, he hacked into my RL info. He found ALL of my stuff out, and even went so far as to black mail me if i didn't give him the gold! He actually hacked my facebook and posted my private chat logs with my girl!! Luckily i was able to take them down before anyone saw them, but BE AWARE. he could've EASILY taken my paypal, bank accounts, etc

I click OK buy my anti-virus dont do anything. I although do have a Java update.

I turn my computer on and this pops up

I click yes; nothing happens after except below.

Then I get a thingy saying Java has an update

Is this a virus or not? I don't have anything missing or passwords changed that I know of.

Did you click on any links here recently? Did they ask you to run java? Did you say yes?

 

To be honest I clicked on 2 links that were last week. They lead me to phishing sites but I didn't do anything but X out. Only one of them tried to attack my computer but my anti-virus blocked it.

Could this be tied with my java update?

 

Phishers are nothing to be concerned about. There is no way to tell about your update unless i were to take control of your computer; but if you did not click "run" in anything in java that you clicked on that was not youtube or runescape then you're fine.

If you did it two weeks ago and they haven't done anything you are safe. Make a bank pin and run malware to be safe.

 

I have nothing to worry about loosing if you saw my other thread lol.. and I have Norton 360 if that matters

No its not it happens on every vista / windows 7 computer at the computer startup, nothing to worry about.
