Depends on whats giving you more XP.

If making them from scratch is, fill up on the supplies for that first, and get the supplies to turn them into extremes as a second priority.

A lot of people forget the XP multiplier goes down every 30 or so minutes, after 6 hours ingame its only 1.1% XP, that being .1% above normal.

You want to get the most XP out of it whilst you can.

    EDIT: 1338 post, ruined my 1337 :(

not a good idea. serum is just 50 xp tbh. and they skyrocketed already. ash pots cost aprox 750 already and tarromins close to 1k.

Don't waste your multiplier on normal pots, make them before the weekend if its any cheaper but I don't believe it is.

Here's a useful link for xp/gp rates on herblore:
    http://merchanting.geupdate.com/herblore.php

x mages look to be the cheapest (21gp/1xp) and they yield a fair bit of exp, I would go with those if you don't need any other potions.

Herbs are like 1.5x the price now.

Best to make super energies I think at the moment.

    Good luck with it :)

Antifires are cheapest atm, but you have to collect feathers.

It's actually 1.1x the regular rather than 1.1%, so instead of being .1% above regular it's 10% above regular. :)

Antifires are good as said above. Collecting is a pain though, but you can always pay someone to collect them. (always here to pick them)

Recover specials are very good, buy the fruitfall bot and collect your own papaya, or if money isn't really a problem buy the papaya and super energy pots. I'm not sure if 100m is enough, but i think it should be.

Ext attack pots are actually good, since you use them more often then recover specials/antifires. Super att's are cheap, and all you really need is avantoes. You can try farming them.

If you're just looking for the fastest exp, extreme ranges are the way to go. Buy a lot of grenwall spikes and range pots, and you're good to go. They're over 700k an hour with 2x weekend.

I'm not quite sure if you're looking for the cheapest or just the fastest, but i hope i've helped :p

7-8k is good, yeah. You make around 1.5k an hour, so basically first hour you make like ~3.4k pots you would make normally.

AutoherbPro definitely, made over 200k pots for me. Is a little buggy yeah, but sometimes it's uber flawless.

If you only need for a day or 2, then get this

    http://www.oembots.com/bots/index.php?action=buy&cat=14

It's the same as rsbots.net's autoherblorepro the bot-limit is infinite but the auth will only work for a month

I'm currently doing serums to 99. Probably gonna switch to extremes soon though because I bet serums aren't much better gp/xp and a hell of a lot slower xp/h.

edit: Yeah.. Pretty sure I'm getting better gp/xp even with extremes and their current prices lol (ridiculously above market)

Also if you're considering doing extreme magics you might want to take into account all the ground mud runes you're gonna have to do lol. I was gonna do em too, but then I realized crushing 20k mud runes (they're untradeable) would take FOREVER and I'm not trying to have to click 40k times.
