Effigies. ;)

I've had a good few effigies from killing living rock creatures, but i've heard that the lvl 138 cave crawlers are much better.

What do you guys find? I might go on a effigy hunting spree.

 

Level 138 Cave Crawlers drop about an effigy an hour, costing you about 3.5M an hour. That is said to be the best in the game.

 

I've also heard the "effigy per hour" at cave crawlers.

Dunno if they mean cannoning them or what though.


No real point in camping effigies like that if you can't solve them all yourself though. Otherwise you're just wasting money.

 

Personal favorites include:
Frost Dragons
Tormented Demons
High Level Slayer Monsters [Abyssal Demons, Dark Beasts, and Ice Strykwyrms (sp)]

Cannoning the 138 Cave Crawlers has been proven to be the best as well.

 

Might give them a go tomorow. I should be able to solve most of them myself anyway, if not, i'm sure its not too hard to find someone.

Also heard that frost dragons are good, but i cant stand dung. lol. Still lvl 50 something. lol.

 

Frosts drop them definitely less than once per hour.

More like once every 3 hours. lol.

 

I got 18 of them from 74-98 strength.
I don't really understand what they do...

I got about 45 or so from maxing my melee at Tzhaar.

 

so i should exchange them for 5k xp lamps?

 

I am planning to get 100 effigys, thats would take me 100 hours, and like 300m then, damn ...

 

I have 29 effigies banked from slayer

Working on solving all of them (except mining/smithing and fishing/farming) on my own

 

Boting tzhaars, i get like 4 a night.

 

NO! After you complete them all, you will get a dragonkin lamp. The lamp gives a TON of exp t o be used on ANY skill, so it will save you millions on herblore, prayer, etc.

 

costing you 3.5M? meaning? you are pretty much using 3.5m worth of supplies?

No, got to w117 daemonheim and get assistance in the ones you can't solve yourself. The dragonkin lamp you get at the end is a lot better than a 5k xp lamp.

 

I might have a go at tzaars. Get me a few obby capes along the way. lol.

 

They give you experience, aFTER YOU OPEN THEM YOU get a lamp that gives you like 30k xp.

 

Tzhaar people are the best imo for me.

I got 2 effigies within a period of 10 minutes from Bronze Dragons, give them a go.
