Safer for you, yes. But there's nothing to stop you taking the EA account and changing the email and password. AFAIK, there's no recovery system like steam.

If you were selling the key, with scan, by itself, I'd be interested.

 

Having the key wont matter, as of now, you cannot enter it on EADM for a digital download. And you can always recover EA accounts... See my vouch thread..

It's not like that.... I need the account information if you want a digital download of the game. If not, you can just pay for the retail CD key and borrow a game from a friend
