Question for mods.

My friend license29 was scammed a white party hat by mike1, he made a scammer accusation and a moderator removed the post, his post count and everything related to the scam.
I would like to see some justification for this.
I am a good friend of license29 and can vouch this scam happened.
License then spammed his threads immaturely (understandable to me) and mike reported it as spam and lies and it was removed, however this was no lie, and the scammer accusation had plenty of proof, i saw it before its removal.
I have been a member of sythe since 2005 with long standing ties to some of the most trusted members here and i have no reason to lie about this, i have never even spoken to mike before, but license was talking to me on vent when this scam happened and i told him how to post the evidence.
Tell me this isnt going to be another sigex situation.

 

Tell your friend License to repost the scammer report using the correct guidelines.
If this fails again, seek attention from an Administrator.

 

He did follow the guidelines and his post was not locked it was deleted.
All his threads regarding this trade were deleted, and his post count was changed to match this.

 

If you post where we should look, we can see what posts were deleted. The only time we can't see deleted posts is if a Global/Admin hard-deletes them, which is a rare occurrence.

 

Scammer accusations is one of them, license also said he posted in one of mike1's trade threads.

 

Accusing without proof will always be deleted if that is what he did

 

He posted msn screenshots, in game screen shots and threads.

Ill have to wait for him to come back online, can you find his scammer accusation at least?

rs2 Party hats havnt been in the $100-$150 range since 2005.

 

I believe those prices were accurate for the hats since you had to pay the market value of the hats when they were traded. I'd be surprised to see a Burnley fake vouch, if anything.

anyways. It's very unlikely that the report and all the posts related to it would be deleted. even if they were, mods can see it. So either every single mod on the site is corrupt, or your friend did not make any such thread. If he did, it lacked evidence.

Also, i'm pretty sure msn chat logs are not considered proof

 

Since its clear you are not the most observant person i will point you to both my sig and the sigex/shredderbeam debacle.
As to the vouches, if kero vouches them then i dont have a problem there.
Mike1 did scam a white off license though.

 

What you're talking about doesnt happen any longer and it will never happen, No global can hard-delete and none of the admins would ever stoop that low, either.

The only posts that have beeen deleted recently belonging to Mike1 have been spam posts.

Please tread carefully, you're accusing alot of people with corruptness that doesnt exist.

 

Globals and sectionals can actually both hard delete through some clever use of merging. (assuming globals and sectionals can merge threads / posts). I don't however think any staff member would stoop so low for a random scammer tho.

 

Unless it happened to be them/a friend.

The thing is, i saw this scammer accusation when it was posted, yet no mod has been able to find it, and my friend DID lose a white party hat, sorry if i dont trust the words of staff members of a site with 10+ banned/demoted staff members.

The posts deleted were by license29 not mike1..
And theres a dozen ways moderators can delete threads.
And im expected to believe that staff at sythe are beyond reproach?
Tell that to some one who wasnt arround when kyo and shredderbeam were.
Would you like me to post a list of staff who were demoted for scamming/phishing or other offences? its not a short list.

How about a random scammer offering them half of a 2 billion gp scam?
A thousand bucks to rip off a new member with little chance of being caught?
Im sure a lot of people wouldnt feel too bad about it.
