    Maxed boxing.
I usually just do Punch the whole time unless I start loosing then I switch to defense but this never seems to work as I win about 1/5 fights.

Also, is it a good idea to switch to punch right before you hit then block right when your going to get hit?

Have defensive on as they hit you, and aggressive/accurate on as you hit ( Accurate if your behind i would assume, aggressive if your ahead )

I choose Offensive mode when it's my turn to attack, then Defensive when it's my turn to defend.

If the attacks hit at the same time, I use Defensive mode.

    Idiot.
Defensive mode gives you invisible +5% to your Defence.
Same happens with Aggressive & Offensive modes, they just increase Strength / Accuracy.

    Not true.

If you turn your attack style to aggressive you get a higher max hit, so it's wise to assume that attack and defense have similar effects.

Source please. Your basing this off of Weapons which have a higher Slach, crush ect attack stat im assuming, not off of boxing.

The highest I've seen anyone hit in boxing with no pots, prayers, ect is 11.5 with ANY combat style. So im going to assume that is the flat max. Therefore changing to aggressive wouldn't change a thing.

    Source, now.

I can support Peetu's claim. That's why the Aggressive stance always has the highest hits (+3 Strength).

    You got me. Editing OP,

With this information, I'd assume switching to defensive as they hit, and aggressive/accurate depending on if your ahead or behind as you hit.
