WTF is this? It seems to be a scam

Okay well I have been receiving different mails from Jagex which they say I got infractions and stuff, there's link which I click and takes me to enter my Username+Password (I have not done it yet), So I go to Runescape main page and I check my black-marts history and I have nothing.

Even though it's from Jagex email, check this pic out.

It's a scam. If it was Jagex, they would actually have your username in the email, as well as their address.

 

Yeah it's a scam, low lifers making this crap. Never go to them as Jagex only messages your in-game box.

 

It's called a phishing email. Anyone can make a email from @jagex.com. Read the sticky or the announcement about it .

 

Pretty nicely made phish right there.

I don't suggest putting your username/password there.

 

It's a well made phish that everybody seems to be receiving atm.

 

Please read the stickies, it's a common phishing email that's going around in some way/shape/form.

 

nothing says SCAM more than that message. Its a good old decoy for getting you to click on the link, and then a keylogger coming and stealing your RS pw.

 

You cannot keylog someone without a Java applet or someone downloading a file.

 

i got something liek this also but i got black marks then it said it was a jagex error so they removed
