Setting up/accessing a vps on a MAC

I recently bought a package from photonvps, however I haven't attempted anything with it.

A very long time ago I used a rsbotvps vps, however i'm not exactly sure how I did it.

So far all I have is Chicken of the VNC. What other programs will I need? Are there any guides for mac users?
