Why can't i run more than two SG bots at a time?

For some god damn odd reason, i cannot run more than two accounts at SG, furthermore 1 account on SG with another one doing something else, without my SG lagging like crazy and getting caught by the elementals. Setting java . exe to high only makes my computer go slower.

What's wrong? Why's it doing this? I can run two accounts max doing something else with lag, isn't 2 gb of ram enough? Is it my processor? I don't have a virus and many things downloaded.

Anyway, here are my specs to my computer, i'm not sure if this belongs in tech support or not but i'm looking for suggestions, thanks.

 

A quick Google shows me reviews that describe that processor as "Entry Level", a "Light Version" of other processors, and one site even came straight out and called it "Slow".

EDIT: That 2GB of RAM doesn't exactly help either. These days, with how technology has grown, even 4GB is starting to look pretty basic.

 

Yeah, my processor does suck, but really? It can't run more than two bots?
And 2gb should be plenty to run more than one.
Oh well, I guess i'll just try to get a new processor.
If anyone has something similar to me, please post.

 

I have a Dell desktop with the following specs:



I run 2 SG bots at a time, with the global settings all the way to the left, and I experience no lagg at all (although my CPU fan sometimes kicks into a slightly higher gear).

What you can try doing is going in your rsbot folder, and edit the run-RAM1000MB file. Find where it says -Xmx1000m, and change the 1000 to 472 or 372. Then rerun it, and it should be using less resources, thus allowing you to run more bots.

Also, just a note about the priority thing for the javaw.exe process. That does next to nothing, because it doesn't kick in unless your usage is at 100%. And even then, you are most likely just fighting between the RS bots, so it's not going to help you anyways.

And yeah, java . exe at high doesn't help. Don't know why people tell me to do it.
My fan was loud, icleaned out the dust and it helped lol.

Edit: Changing it to 373, will that give me less lag?

depnce sometimes on your internet liek who your with like i can run 2 bots with bt but my mate whos with virgin can run liek 4

 

My internet is fine..me and my friend have the same provider, he can run more than two.

 

it could be your internet connection, bots also use the internet. its like downloading pretty much. 1 bot = dling a movie, so pretty much your draining alot of your internet from using 1 bot. but if you say you can run a diff bot 2 at the same time than either sg takes more usage, or your slowly killing your computer from botting
edit: just saw that u said your friend has the same ip, that doesn't matter. i can have verizon, you can have Verizon. mine could be better just because of the router im using, interference in the house, number of computers on the internet.

 

Sg shouldn't take more usage. And this happens with all of my other bots too, if i open more than one client it will start to lag.
