[Guide] Purchasing The perfect VPS for Botting from PhotonVPS [by: Persia_Ugly]

Hello Sythe, I always give advice and I get alot of PM's about ordering/configuring/running a VPS and which provider to use.
I have decided to take some time to write a Step by step, detailed and picture-filled Guide for all of you.
I figured it would really help those new to the whole process or just curious, and yes it took an actual order.
It is a specific guide on purchasing what I think to be The perfect VPS for botting. Enjoy!

Go to PhotonVPS by clicking the pic below, I'd appreciate you link from my sig.




Click the support button top right corner.




Register for an account or log in.




After registration, click Order. You can also get there from the mainpage.




Use Xen only for botting, they will not allow you to use java bots on openvz.




Choose your package, I will use Warp 4. Package details found HERE, or at their official website.




Choose your billing cycle, which is how often you pay. Choose monthly, Hostname can be ANYTHING at all, choose a password.




Choose Operating System, if you have 4GB or more RAM you should use 64 bit, if less 32 bit. I always use 64 bit. Update cart. You do not need a Control Panel you get SolusVN free.




You can use Coupon Codes here if you choose.




I used one here as an example, your welcome to it. Click Checkout.




If you created an account as per step 2, you are here if not create one now. Choose paypal, agree and click Complete Order. Notes are not necessary.




You will need to log into paypal, Make sure it is the official site only! Check for security features when entering info anywhere.




You can change payment method, or after reviewing Accept and Pay.




If all worked out Return to the website. If you had problems paying and can pay now, just go to My invoices, click View Invoice, then Checkout.




You receive an Order Confirmation number, Save this number in case of anything!




You will receive a few emails all standard info in View Emails tab, Save the invoice info too!




You must wait for an email now. A ticket was automatically sent for you, if it says closed they reviewed it. Be patient.




Or you can bother them to no avail, lol @ the response time




After waiting you will receive an Email with all the info you will need!




You will need the Server details to set up your VPS for botting using putty, and the SolusVM URL is where you reboot, reinstall etc.

I would like to add that the website control panel is universally used by vps providers, so it's pretty much same process, screens and forms. Just different names.

Yes depending on many factors, it can be instant or a long wait. But they are an old reputable provider, and as far as I can tell you will be given what you paid for. Patience is a virtue.

Use the terminal instead of PuTTY
Use Chicken of the VNC instead of Ultra VNC

In CotVNC you enter the IP WITHOUT the :1 extension and then you enter just the number 1 in the display field.

 

WHTHALF no longer works

 

Was it your first time trying to use it? try HALFOFF if neither work and it's your first time then yes it is disabled.

do u have to say real info when registering (such as location)

 

Could you add how many bots you can run on each of the Warp options?

 

I don't think so, but if you wan't to verify who you are for any reason it'd be hard to produce a Mclovin ID. I'm pretty sure you can use whatever details you want though.

Well that's a whole different guide because there are many many factors, including operating system, memory ran at, what bots, location etc. For an example an autofighter at fleshies will run 500mb but you need almost 1gb for perfect fighter at abyss, perhaps someone can make a guide of this sort. If not I might when I have the time. Great suggestion.
