I personally think he is a moron for running around attacking a bunch of noobs like that. He should have just stopped at the green phat and maby wouldnt have gotten caught.

If that were me, I would have gone to find a guy with rares and asked to buy em for high price. Go to a area with nobody around. Barrage and dds the fuck out of him. Then logged and act like nothing happened. Instead of running around attacking whomever he felt like.

It would have been so smart to "buy" a lot of rares and do exactly what you said.

I guarantee nobody would have believed the victim if he said he got killed randomly out of the wild. Durial could have got away with it, probably.

 

To be honest I doubt he was in it for the money, he did it the way he did for the recognition of finding that sweet bug.

 

I would of done the same, went to a random area asking to buy rares and fucked that fag up. Logged and maybe wait a week or whatever before coming back on.

The potential he could make from that glitch is ridiculous, and he was truly a dumb ass for playing it the way he did.

Even if he didn't get as big as the recognition for the glitch, he could've just recorded himself luring people away from crowds and wrecking them for their rares. And he still would've gotten ALOT of recognition.

 

I could ask him why he did it that way. I have him added on RS on his current account.

 

Ask him if he could log out and back in and still attack.

 

Trust me, you'd do the same if you were him. You couldn't control your excitement, and would go on a huge rampage.

I would be very methodical about it. Scan the forums and get people with rares or large cash to meet me in obscure, low traffic areas. Seriously how did he only get a green phat? He could of teled to every bank and killed everyone skilling with their rares on and such. Shame Ge wasn't around, that would of been off the chain

 

Definitely would have waited for one of my friends to reach 99 Con, then attempt the glitch again, and if it works, continue to make a profit from it.

 

In the end though, he was destined to be banned, so what would be the point of taking his time amassing cash that he would lose? I think what he did was great, he's a legend now, something money can't buy.

 

Wealth can be removed much easier than fame.

 

I'd only attack people when they were solo . Smart thing to do IMO. Then transfer all the loot through mules. I mean you'll inevitably be banned either way.

 

Honestly I would lure or follow people 1 by 1 into desolate places, then kill them. He did not really think it out, but then again he probably didn't know how long the glitch would last or any other details, so he did what he could when he had the chance - I don't blame him for that. I do remember being online a different world at the time, and news popping up about him.
