getting an xbox, need game recommendations

Well to start I'm getting bad company 2 and black ops.

I'm looking for other good game recommendations as well as a headset recommendation.

 

Definitely Halo 3. What type of genre you interested in? Sports? Sci-Fi? RPG?

 

Halo Reach is all I can recommend.

 

I'm into anything that has multiplayer. I've never been a big halo fan. I haven't played it since halo 2, I don't like the newer ones.

Final fantasy 14(online) comes out on ps3 in march so it will most likly be on xbox aswell.

 

I tried the beta, did not like it at all. FFXI was a lot better imo.

 

Well if you like FF you could try out FF13 if you haven't already.

 

Do not get Bad Company 2! Anything but that! I bought the game used and returned it back the next day. It was the worst game I've played in my life! The campaign was horrible and the plot was stupid. The gameplay is pretty fun but really hard on multiplayer. I suggest you get Black Ops and Halo Reach.

 

I reccomend some astro's, (A40's primarily, they are a little pricy). and for games:

FPS's: Halo reach, Cod Black Ops, Gears of War 2, Borderlands
RPG's: Fable 2 or 3 (They're both great).

There's a lot more but those are the ones off the top of my head.

 

Get FIFA 11!

 

Best Multiplayer. Ever.

 

I played bad company 1 and it was one of the funnest multiplayer games I have ever played.

I have BC2 now and I love it.

 

Borderlands is fun online.
If you enjoy racing games I would suggest Test Drive Unlimited 2.

Read Dead Redemption and GTA 4 are both very fun to play online, but they get a lil stale after awhile.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has been out for awhile, but I still highly enjoy that. Theres alot more customization to it than any of the newer shooters.

You can also preorder Homefront, it looks promising.
