Okay here's the story.

A little while ago when I was walking home, I saw some people trying to break into cars and called the police on them. I knew these guys as I'd seen them around a lot. A few days later they come up and ask if I narked. I said no, because well I thought I was safe. I wasn't. They believed me at the time. Then when he went to court, he was given the witness statement. My name was left on there. And my address. Everything. The funny thing was the officer in charge told me that he would guarantee my name wouldn't be on the statement.
So then last friday, we were walking to maccas at 3 oclock in the morning, ( bad idea yeah, but generally would've been a good idea because of our neighborhood. ) and one of the guys saw me. Eventually they all come, to mac donalds and want me to come out on the road, so they can beat the shit out of me. I stayed, and waited 2 hours before they left. It was okay up until yesterday.
Yesterday as I was coming out of the gates of my school, 2 guys approached me, one talking, the other blindsided me. I got fully beaten up, stomped on, kicked, etc outside my school, when everyone was coming out of the gates. No one did anything.(but typical) Afterwards I got up and walked away, can't remember walking most of the way, but got to bp. Ended up going to hospital but I discharged myself and left.
My neighbor across the road saw, so they told my nan what happened. My nan and pop called the police. I came home. My mum came around and told me if anything happens again to call her because my uncle brett's got connections (most likely of the bad kind) But my ordeal is with the police. The police came around last night And i told them nothing. Because telling them stuff in the first place is what got me into this. But the police are going to follow through with it anyway. So either way, the guy who assaulted me is most likely going to jail. Then his mates will think I narked again then come after me again. Anyone know what I can do?

 

You should have stayed quiet in the first place. I wouldn't have done anything unless it happened to be my car or somebody else in the family's car. The best thing you could do now is stay hidden and stay in public places.

 

The best thing you can do is show your not the one to be fucked with, It's best to call your uncle and beat the shit out of these kids. I'm not even joking, shit like this happens all the time and sometimes the best defence is a great offence.

 

They're 20 +, not kids.

 

Doesn't matter either way, they will continue to pick on weaker persons untill they get majorly fucked up themselves.

The first thing ille do when I get assaulted and beat the shit up with them hunting me down for more, is getting getting the help of some bigger boys( not talking about size) and just get one of them to show them your not one to be fucked with.

The problem with these guys is, they think there all that breaking into a car, but really? They're small thieves streetkids/guys and they will be scared as hell when some tougher guys do to them what they've done to you.

 

Get your uncle involved, if he really does have connections then once they're scared shitless they won't bother with you.

 

I bet this is what all the people watching the beating were thinking.

One time i was messed with in high school. Sad to say it but i started carrying a knife outside of school.

Even if they just see your knife they will become discouraged.
(dont plan on using it)

what i started to do was this:

whenever i would see them i would stick my hand in my pocket and move my knife into a more available pocket(from jean pocket to a hoodie sleeve.)
they would usually notice this offensive gesture and keep on walking, stand and watch me or allow me to keep walking.

A man broke into my place a few months ago. I heard him and went to grab anything i could. I found a knife. The moment he saw it he started on his way out. now he has a court date.

 

I hope your uncle is like Clint Eastwood in the movie Gran Torino . Anyways call your uncle because you don't want to get stepped on longer and you personally shouldn't tolerate getting beat up. Start carrying around a swiss army knife (I believe if you get caught with it, you won't get charged with anything or if it's something then it won't be much like you would with carrying a legit knife...)

Well from personal experiance I'd say you should work it out with the help of police. Getting other people in to this shit (uncle) or whatever should be the very last option.

About the knife... Dude Don't be stupid listening to this. Bet the person never got in to a situation with a knife involved.

 

I'd suggest you avoid them as much as possible, and have 911 on your speeddial in case they do muck with you lol

 

Id say either just try to avoid them, or if that isnt possible (i.e. the guys dont give a shit about kicking a kid in, in a public place) then get your uncle involved. Like people have said the greatest defence bar not being attacked, is a good offence and if your uncle can provide that then so be it. Also trust me m8, do not carry a knife around, if anything did happen all it would take is for you to be hit, drop the knife and then one of them use it.

 

You did the right thing when you called the police, but you should have told the police you don't want any of it to do with you. Best thing to do right now is avoid them. Don't wander alone outside past mid-night. When your walking around, walk around with lots of people, don't walk around alone. Don't bring a knife to school! Some kid at our school was getting beat up so he brought a knife, they found it and guess what, he got expelled. Always be prepared for anything. Have a phone with you to call 911. Don't try fighting them, it might intimidate them even more and you could risk your life. If you're going outside, be with lots of people, I suggest talking all of this out with the police. If your name was used in the statement, and your name/address/personal details given, then the justice system has failed.

Hire a lawyer, and get compensation <3

Personally, i wouldn't be fucked with. People around me know i'm not to be fucked with. You need to somehow show them your not to be fucked with. If you see them around again, you should get a crowbar and beat the everliving shit out of them. I might sound like a douchey asshole but Don't be a pussy, don't let them know think that you're a pussy. Get that reputation that you're not to be fucked with, even if i lossed if i got a little satisfaction as so much as breaking one of their arms with a crowbar before i was taken down, i'd be happy. If i got seriously injured myself, i'm a person willing to take that risk because i know how people are and i know how that if you don't do shit about it or move out of the area, they're going to fuck you up. So, do what u need to do but if i were you i'd take something that could fuck them up and get to swinging. But if you haven't a clue on how to fight or defend yourself and know for a fact you'd get the shit beat out of you before you could touch one of them, you should probably just move out of the area. If they're not in jail yet, or if they do end up going, they'll get out soon and i'm sure they won't
be happy.

 

I agree with Haunted on this one. You need to get guys and take the offensive to be honest. It doesn't sound pretty but it's the only thing that will make these guy's see you're not one to be fucked with. To be honest it's the only way i can think of that will stop you from living in fear and looking over your shoulder.

 

I would stay home with some locked doors for a few weeks.

My advice to you is to stand up for yourself, if you got a beating next time you see one of them on their own simply *get stuck in* . Well just what i would do if not call your uncle and stay out of it. Also i can't believe he read your name on the witness statement defys logic... Police's fault if you ask me.
