Grow some weed?

So anyways my friends brother grows weed and sells its just as a one of thing for some cash. Apparently he managed to make $600-800 of one plant. I'm thinking about starting it just for the hell of it. So many people i know i could sell to so would be fairly easy to sell quickly. Oh by the way i dont smoke it either but very tempting just dont want to get addicted to it either.

What do you guys think? lol

 

I would say, dumb idea. 1 mistake is all it takes to get prison time. Just make money legally, and not illegally. Trust me, don't be fooled.

 

I think it's a great idea. Just wait till next January to plant them since you need basically a full year for them to bud really nice if they're indoor plants. I grew a few plants last year but that was about the extent of it

Growing takes time n dedication. Unless you wanna grow some poop that no one will buy. I wouldn't grow outdoor (can't anyways till grow season). But indoor is way too complicated just to do it for fun.

My brother tried to grow. 3 plants indoor. 2 of the 3 were getting close to dying. He harvested them n got around 35Gs total. (ounce n a quarter) And then the other one, my dad threw away.

So, it took around $300 for a light, chemicals, sprays and all this other crazy shit he needed. Me being stupid, lent him $150 of it to make some more in the end.



oh and youre not going to make $800 from a plant unless its like 10 feet tall or dank ass big plant.

 

I'd say if you wanted to start growing some pot then you should try an outdoor grow first. Find a nice secluded spot in the woods (one you can find easily) and plant like 10-15 seeds. GERMINATE them first!

Don't spend too much on supplies seeing as it's your first grow; maybe a few plant pots and some good soil. Also some sort of spray to keep away vermin/deer.

Do not show anyone your plants, no matter how tempted you may be. Once you show one person, then they might get greedy and go find it on their own and possibly destroy it/steal it.

Let the plants grow about 3 weeks, then find out if they are males/females. Move (far far away) or destroy the males so that the females won't have any seeds in them. If you allow the males to grow next to the females then the females will be pollinated by the males and the bud will be less potent.

I've had my own grows a few times, never had a successful chop though because usually the plants were stolen/destroyed.

Oh and by the way, there's no physical addiction to marijuana. It's nearly impossible to get addicted. You are more likely to get addicted to sugar/caffiene/food/alcohol/cigarettes.

 

Honestly, weed is a tough plant. People think it needs all this special care and shit, which of course helps the plant out. In reality, seeds in a pot of miracle grow with water every day will still bless you with a nice size dank plant, depending on the seeds, of course. Indoor all you need is some lights basically.

I'm not saying all the special shit and care doesn't help, but It's not necessarily necessary.

dependin on your situation , if u dont have alot of money an your parents arnt doin well , i could see it. i know alot of people who sell some , some been sellin 10 years aint got caught.. but thin is weed isnt that bad here you can have up to a gram on you all they can do is take it away, if your caught wit more its like a week to 2 weeks even if u got aounce.

however people are not always lucky an will get bsted if your from the states this is a big deal, you won't be able to get a job an your lifes fucked ... just sayin man

money aint even that good you make like 60-120 bucks a ounce so ...

in my opinion i wouldn't do it unless it's neccarsy not to mention all the people who will try to rob you, fight you, or if you get into sellin harder shit stab you maybe even kill you if their a crackhead .

Do your research first. If I were you I'd stick to one plant and just use it for some side cash. And you wont get addicted to weed, although if you do stay away from it you will be less tempted to smoke out of your stash, which means more money.

 

I grew a few plants indoor once, it was a 600-700EURO operation. A lot of failures at the beginning, but I managed to make it all back and then some. Considering money wasn't my goal (I just wanted some killer-shit as personal stash), I did a pretty good job. I consider myself a walking library when it comes to weed and especially the cultivation of.

I noticed someone said it took a year to fully grow buds on your plant. Honestly, I laughed my fuckin' ass off. Normal (indica) plants take 7-9 weeks to FULLY FLOWER (so exclude 2-3 weeks of growing). I'm still talking about WEEKS here, not MONTHS. Sativa variants of cannabis take anywhere between 10 and 14 weeks to flower fully, excluding growth period again.

I'm ending my speech here, cause I could really go on forever. But one last important thing: If you really want to start growing and be successful at it, all I can say is: READ READ READ till your fuckin' eyes pop out!!!

 

The seeds i can get are afghan seeds, apparently they take upto 8-9 weeks to fully flower. If i were to try it would have to be outdoors and i would probably go with at least 3-4 plants at a time.. but yeah im not entirely sure about pricing/quantity.

i laughed my ass off when i read that a plant takes a year to grow.
funniest shit ever.
it takes an average 3 months for a plant to flower. this is one reason people want to start using hemp for paper instead of trees. it takes an incredibly short amount of time to grow and the fibers are incredibly strong.
