Lvl 60 Range Void Rusher...Ownage or Not?

I currently have 70 ranged, 1 def, and I want to turn into either:

1) 40 Defense (Black d hide)
or
2) 42 Defense (Void)

Which would would you suggest? Do combat lvl 65 void rushers own? Using D bow spec? Any other info would be appreciated.

 

42 if you're going to do that. and you won't own as your range is low (70) so your spec will be hitting 8 8 more often than hitting a good spec.

Now if you get

42 def (void)
Low hp
99 range
44 pray

then you will own

 

Yea if you get any def. at all get 42 def, but just know that you need 42 mage, attack, and str, to wear full void too. I agree with Darkened Mind, definitely get 85+ range if you are going to be a void rusher, also, use a cannon frequently to keep low hp.

 

wait...do I want low hp? Won't I get KO'd really fast by other rushers? How do I PK normally with low hp?

The point of a rusher is to rush. If you're looking to pk regularly don't use a cannon, get high hp, and use dhide.
