okay so to start your going to need 99 attack, defense,strength and hit points.
other levels are fine,but i dont have experience with other builds,so my guide might not help you.

im simply giving away the method i use to win my stakes,and it seems to help but i cant promise it will help you.

first off you all know about the rules and all that junk,so im not going to sit here and explain that.
what im explaining is the attack styles,and how to use them to your advantage.
the way you go about this is to, pay close attention to your characters animation for attacking.

you will be using the attack and defense training styles here.

now as soon as your player reaches back to punch,switch from attack to defense style,after that as soon as your opponents hit marker appears switch back to attack style. it may take a while for you to perfect this,but once you do it will give you in theory a +/- 3 lvls to attack when you need it,and defense respectively.

i have found when using this method i can win stakes with about 200-300 lp left.i have also tested that when using only the attack/defense/strength styles,it really is more of a gamble,and usually will not beat this method of attacking.

people say odds are 50/50,those odds do not increase or decrease because you loose or win a fight.... its 50/50 EACH FIGHT. just because you lost the previous fight,doesnt give you a advantage in the next fight. my best advice is if you hit a loosing streak,take a break for the night,calm down, and try some new strategys.i cant publicly give out my strategy for winning,but it didnt take long to notice that it worked. i wish you all the best of luck.

ok the guide is fine but not flawless.. what if u do the hits simultaneously? u hit and get hit at same time...

if your getting hit at the same time i suggest just randomly siwtching,but it doesnt happen often.

It works well enough, the only problem is that just about everyone does it so it really is just 50/50 at high levels

 

Yeah and you can't tell who is doing it so you don't know who to stake to get the advantage. But it still has to be done and there are a lot of people who don't know it

I tested this last two days on my maxed out main, this doesn't work. My wining and losing rates are the same, no difference at all. My opinion: 100% myth.
