More Guider Verifiers!

Wouldn't it be easier to find the verifiers?

 

Honestly, guide sales and their verification is just a total ignored mess currently. I am going to keep annoying everyone in the SL until I can get some upper level staff attention on my proposal.

Not really, since they wouldnt have colored names you still have to look in the sticky to see who they are anyways...

 

Definitly support this Guides can always been fun to read anyways.

 

I support. I see all kinds of guides that I want to buy, but none of them are ever verified and people always want a mod or some kind of staff to get them verified.

Would it be an overhaul of the system? Or just new verifiers?

 

I support this, the section could use some cleaning up and I'm sure this would help out a lot.

 

I support this, I have been looking for guides on that forum but without it being verifiers there that risk that its stolen from elsewhere or not working.
Also this goes to ALL guides correct? not just Runescape related ones, We need a guide section for non runescape related ones.

We don't need more verifiers. There are plenty of them. Hell, I rarely receive a PM now asking for a guide to be verified. If I do, and it does not follow how I asked it to be PM'd to me; I don't verify it. (I'm not interested in adding someone on Msn, accepting a file on Msn, etc. Rather do it fast and simple with a PM)

If you need a guide verified, PM all the verifiers one is bound to do it. I do agree with Nate upon it needing some direction though.

Also, you must contact us, not many people go posting on every thread saying "message me if you want this verified," or PM you about it etc. (Its extremely time consuming.)

OMM's don't have colored names as well.

 

I support this, but don't support a rank, don't support any benefits other then verifying guides, and I think there should be a application, not a random selection [What accounts do you have access do, how long have you played, what quests have you done, how much do you know about the game, are you good at looking for leaked guides, How active are you etc. ]

 

support. wanted to get my guide verified a week ago. pm'd every single guide verifier. no one was willing to do it because they weren't willing or available.

Tmoe actually verified mine today, if you want someone to verify it, just pm him, hes the only guy that actually did it

 

You do realize people need to contact verifiers, not the other way around? People have the option to verify their guide.

You never PM'd me, or if you did you didn't follow the format I request. As well, I was gone for a majority of the last week due to a family problem.

you were not on the list when i wanted to get my guide verified. you can ask gohan i pm'd him numerous times but he was busy. and i was cool with it. i even added 4 of those people on msn. none of them even bothered to reply. just ignored me.

I was never taken off that list.. I've been on that list since OGVs were first instated.

Ontopic: I think that a simple application and it requires you to be quite familiar with RS and such or nominated by the community.

 

Why not simply let people nominate others/themselves, then have a set team of people (either staff or current verifiers) to look into their background, and decide if they're trusted enough for the job?

That is, of course, if more verifiers are needed. If people simply aren't PMing the current verifiers, then that's your own fault.
