In this article they talk about kids that cut themselves on youtube videos to draw attention. They show a screenshot of what looks to be a kids that is about to cut his wrist. However this is not the case. The screenshot the video is from is actually just a joke video that shows a kids acting like he is cutting himself with a razor phone. Anyways just thought I would share this little mistake

    Actually youtube video here:

    Stoopid...
Honestly, If you put a video of yourself cutting or hurting yourself, your insane. Insane in the sense that your an idiot, not mentally insane.

People don't cut for attention, they do it for relief and to relax. Sorta like a drug. I don't try to kill myself but I can speak from experience to an extent =\

Bullshit. It is an attention ploy. I've been through it as well, so I can say that people involved will go to extreme lengths to deny that it is in fact a play for attention.

Self-mutilation has been around for centuries, and from the beginning of time it has been a social thing. Cutting/Burning has always been something kids do for attention, even though many cases involve hidden scars, the subconscious thought that most experience when performing acts of self-mutilation is based on what others think of them and what others would think of what they're doing to themselves.

While they may not outwardly flaunt their actions, their intention and considerations are that of which is related to attention seeking behavior.
