Anyone banned for RWT items?

Considering buying a tbow, shadow, masori, and ancestral - which is about 3.7b in items. Is this safer than buying gold? I ultimately do not want to do this if there is a decent chance my main would get banned. Any tips on preventing bans?

In addition to the banning, how do you guys recommended finding reliable discords to purchase this from?

 

I don't know if I'm just one particular case that has gone awry, but I did get banned one day after buying a Shadow off of a reputable website. It's not their fault and I'm not blaming them for it whatsoever. I paid them fairly. They traded me on a proper high level account while I traded them on a normal account. Next day I couldn't log in and was banned for RWT Major (of which Jamflex never gives proof of course, so there's nothing to do or appeal).

It does happen. People *do* get banned -- from personal experience it happened to myself, without any prior warning whatsoever. But let this not deter you.

definitely not risk getting my main banned. Honestly, I kinda wish Jagex had a better way to just send them money for GP. a TBOW in jagex bonds is like $1,300 - like c'mon it is a game haha. I want to do endgame content like raids for fun, but don't like the idea of spending 600 hours of my life grinding tbow lol

 

You can buy gold, then buy the item you want. If you are caught, they will remove the gold, not the item. Whereas, if you buy the item, they'll remove the item.

 

I have noticed a lot more "RWT" related bans this year. Most of them purchasing 1bill+ Gold/Items majority of the time, and some even purchasing lower amounts. I wouldn't trade any account you wouldn't want to risk losing directly to the player giving the items/gold.

 

Yeah that seems to be the trend - which is honestly crazy. I mean what if you just trade someone in your clan a shadow or something to use while they are taking a break from the game or something. Seems Jagex is getting a bit out of hand with this

 

I have found if you buy gold on an alt, the alt may get RWT banned but if you trade it off to another account, nothing happens. I bought gold/shadow using my RS3 account due to it having no RWT bans on it got nothing but I've also bought gold on an alt, traded the wealth to my main and the alt got gp wiped, main untouched (the main also had RWT 2 day ban in the past).

 

interesting - I have heard from others that using and ALT just increases the chances of getting a ban. So, ultimately, who even knows. I wish bonds weren't so expensive because I would just buy GP through Jagex to be safe - but a tbow with bonds is $1,200 - which is absolutely absurd

 

buying items rather than gp must be safer since it doesnt seem as obvious, but who knows. i would buy items rather than gp.

 

Trade it to an alt account let it sit for couple weeks then transfer to main

 

Just got perm banned on a 2k til maxed 1 def pure. avoid RWTing imo.

 

I don't play as often anymore, but when I do RWT nowadays it is exclusively items, I don't risk buying straight GP anymore. I've bought maybe 2.5b over the last year or so I think? These trades were over the last two years as well, not one giant trade in one go.

I purchased 500m gold. Never traded - just picked it up off the floor. I sent an appeal buy it was denied. RIP

 

nah, it was the 2nd offense. Honestly didn't even know I got a 1st offense though. rip

 

bought about 4b , 2b in cash 2b in items 3 weeks ago. ill keep you updated if i get banned
