Staff Feedback

It's been a while since I did this and most of the staff have changed so here I go.

Blupig - Don't see very often. But from what I see a good mod.
CSkiffingt1 - Doing better than expected.
Greg - Inactive lately.
Hahanerd - Less active than before but I know he is on vacation now so that covers some of it.
HamJam - A bit less active. Still good mod.
KerokeroCola- Haven't seen much modding from him but he just got the position so I don't expect a ton.
Louis- Pretty inactive.
Magic Arrow - Very inactive.
Pokemoners - A bit inactive but I know whats happening to him irl so I don't blame him.
Plznate- inb4global
Pureown- Haven't seen you do any thing but I don't ever go in the wow section.
Sacro- I have seen you do some behind the scenes work.
Spraynwipe- Very friendly. Great mod.
The Riddler_ - You came for a promotion and then left again? I dunno I haven't really ever seen you.

Alteranz - Great as always.
Clashfan - Looks inactive but I could be wrong with behind the scenes stuff.
FireZ - Amazing as always.
Giddy- Good sturdy mod.
Karl - Doing well as a global.
MegaMatt - Kind of inactive from what I can see.
Nick - I know he mostly does behind the scenes stuff so I can't comment.

Finn - On vacation know so that explains the inactivity.
Matthew - I dunno to be honest.
SMR - Good admin.
Sythe - Same as Matthew
Verts- Good admin

Overall most of the staff are doing a great job in my opinion. I think there a few sectionals that really need to pick up their activity though.

And to clarify, riddler has done page upon page of spam reports. He doesnt post much when he does them though, but his mod rush is going strong for now : P

 

Okay. Thanks for the clarification. Thats why I said for some people that they be doing some behind the scenes work because as just a normal member you can't see all the work being done.

 

For people who are genuinely curious as to some of the work sectionals do, you could browse through the report archives and see which names come up consistently if you are so inclined to. But keep the feedback coming guys, good or bad, we want to know.

 

Plznate - Probably the most shocking of all. I didn't expect you to do much but in my free time I like to browse through dispute forums just to see what excuses people would give and get free lulz. I've yet to see a legitimate dispute where you haven't posted. keep it up.

FireZ - At the rate you're going, I think you will be one of the admin in no time. Probably the most active globals on sythe. You've done very well for the time you've been on sythe.

I have only seen you post like 5 times in the past 3 weeks. Maybe your doing a ton of spam reports but I looked in the scammer section and posting activity when I made this.

 

The amount of times someone posts is not an indication of their activity.

 

As a member, yeah, it is.

 

Not as a moderator, and that's what we're discussing in this thread.

I've made attempts recently to go in to the Dispute forum, but I've found that the majority of bans are made under circumstances I have no understanding of. I've tried to do a little background research, but without the input of the staff member that actually banned them in the first place then it is hard - as I have no idea if they're lying or not.

 

Blupig - Haven't talked to him, no complaints though.

KerokeroCola Don't see him posting as much in the Runescape Forms, but it's probably due to moderating.
Louis Answers my spam reports - also I had an issue with a link in my signature and he helped me clear it all up .

Plznate Legit. Don't talk to him really ever but I know he's doing a good job - Best of wishes on the RSGP stuff.

The Riddler_ Just became mod and is doing a good job, answers my spam reports pretty often .

Alteranz -Legit, I don't see him post often, nor do I talk to him, however I can tell he's doing a good job.
Clashfan -The IRC mod right? It's up and going smooth so he must be doing something right.
FireZ - Oh boy, FireZ. Tbh when I first joined I thought he was the BIGGEST douche. Quite the opposite though. Helps out with nearly everything, did a good job with paypal donations and is always in the dispute forums doin' work. Plus he like OSU .
GiddyDon't really know much about Giddy, however he is active.
Karl -Legit guy. Talk to him in the IRC and is really nice and helpful, glad he was promoted, he does a good job.

Matthew -Great job at donations.
SMR -Good guy. Talk to him in the IRC also, helps me with all of my problems, great job.
Sythe -Must be doing something right as the sight is up and running .
Verts-She is a girl, just got re-admined so I don't have much to say.


To those who I left blank - I haven't seen them post really at all in my 3 or so month stay here so far. Not putting 'em down but I haven't seen a lot of activity from them.

Anyways, keep doing what you guys do, everything is running smooth.

 

You mustn't go to the RS/graphics/scam reports section very much. I had 400 less posts a few days ago, if that puts it into perspective

People who I didn't write about - I personally haven't seen their work but I know every Mod/Global/Admin is doing a great job.

EDIT: Gohan was a really good mod as he was very active and helped a lot, especially in the "Personal Support" forum. I'll miss his posts with advice

I know why most people on this site are banned, I keep up with it pretty often and always have even before I was a mod. In the "Where did name here go" thread I am the #1 poster of answering why others were banned as well. So I'd consider myself a ban intensive mod.

I will admit I do get a little frustrated and irritable when the dispute a ban section has 50 threads, I knock it down to 25 - 30, just to come back to 50 once again. As far as I am concerned theres no time for complaining, theres only time for plowing ahead. Probably also adds to the reason why my responses are short and snappy.

Other globals do things you guys cannot see as well its not like they are standing around and watching me at a county construction job. As a team we do well I just wish we would have "areas of concentration" to evenly spread out what we do.

I'll fill out the feedback for every mod soon, its on my list of things to do.

Finn - Spam forum is for spam, don't take everything as an attack, if your looking for yes men keep it to Pm's. I assume you dislike me for whatever reason I'm not to fussed as to why. If your not up for what others have to say, simply add them to your ignore list.

Matthew - Nice response time, always appreciated, cheers.

 

Ya agreed, matthew has been awesome in staying in frequent contact and helping me out when I need it on the donations end : )
