Overpopulated World and No Food

That's like saying "Why do people keep on using drugs if they know they might/can die from them?"

OT: I'm hoping by 2050 we'll be advanced enough to handle this situation properly and not just create some type of holocaust to solve it.

 

Children are seen as assets in poorer countries (LEDC = less economically developed countries) and so they need these children to farm the land. I'm guessing they also enjoy sex. Rofl.

No they wont die. Have u got any idea what ise the deaths/births ratio there ? There are many many many times more births than deaths. Eventually it will stop growing and they receive the natural growth like most developed countrys. But they have long way to get there. The estimated population for the year 2015 is 8 Billion people, right now there is approximately 7billion. So 1 Billion population growth per 4-5 year is alot. If the trend continues then running out of food is likely to happen . Australia may have millions of acres of land but can it be used for farming ? Probably not , Russia has shitloads of land which they cant use , areas like Siberia. Dont make so ignorant notices.

 

My question is why? Why keep reproducing if you can't even feed your family as it is. Granted yes, maybe it's by accident and that's even worse for not practicing safe sex. So all these poor countries like to complain and ask for help when they contribute to their own problem. Just my opinion.

 

Its beacuse of africas and other developing land society hasnt developed well enough . Farming is still n1 sector in those country's and the trend is that farms need lot of workers so they will have like 5-7 babies per family to help them out. In developed lands the main sector is serving sector or however u call it. And farming has less importance cause all the work is done by machines.

 

I think they'd get the point in Africa if we just stopped feeding them.

 

Its not the rest of the worlds responsibility to feed africa, when they can no longer afford food and things like 40 hour famine and world vision cant pick up the slack they will begin to regress.
Australia has a lot of unused potential, and i think it should stay that way.
And a prediction is just that, scientists predicted the world would end in 2001.

 

I think that the world is bound for something to happen that will stop us from being so stupid with everything we do. We take almost everything for granted, and don't expect it to be gone after taking from the source so long. Eventually, we will have nothing left and the only blameable people will be ourselves.

Dude if developed country's stop feeding Africa, Africa will take even longer time to developed and they are even longer in the farming society. Africa needs to concentrate to updating their machines and industry. Developed country's could do that by teaching them thing or two but they wont cause then Africa is not the place to get cheap work labor and extremely cheap oil. They dont have the technology to do anything on their own and developed country's are very much fine with it. Besides Africa is starving, how can u be so heartless ? Money over humanity eh ?? Africa needs technology to develop their economy not leeches who take their country's resources for ridiculous amount of money.

 

Africa needs a stable society, and untill that happens i could give a rats ass about helping them, helping some one like pol pot or idi amin have the chance to have a strong economy and buy enough guns to wipe out half the continent just doesnt appeal to me.

Use a condom. Over population will eventually be a problem and the fight for the worlds resources will sooner or later begin. Humans will not be on the face of the earth for all eternity. There will come a problem we cannot fix and maybe over population will be that.

 

We will run out of Fresh water before food.
Worry about thirst not hunger.

 

This is major problem as I can see but I believe that we can always be able to supply our population... The poor people die because of starvation. I wonder if more people die than given birth to.

Either we invent an alternate source of food for ourselves or people will organize a mass eradication of people somewhere on earth. My guess is the United States and North America starting in Chicago, Illinois. There will be a series of huge disasters near major, densely populated cities in North America where millions of people will be killed at the fault of these global "terrorists." People will freak out and become insubordinate and fearful for their lives. This will allow the government to declare a state of emergency because of the disaster. Following a series of disasters, the public will become more and more frantic. The military will be called in to control the riots and a state of Martial Law will be declared, just like what happened in Egypt. This giving the military full control and authority over the people. The military will consist of compliant American soldiers and troops from overseas stationed at bases all throughout the country, as well as the UN Blue Berets. The soldiers will be ordered to round up the remaining people and shoot those that resist without question. The people will be loaded onto trains and boats and shipped to different camps located all over the country where they will be reeducated and forced to do manual labor or join the military on it's conquest towards the New World Order.
