Xbox or Ps3?? [HELP ME Plox]

I'm about to buy a console and its going to be one of them (160gb ps3 or xbox 360 slim)

I'm probably going to spend most of my time playing black ops, along with some other games.

Give reasons please.

Xbox. More games that are actually worth playing if you get bored.

 

until today i was like 100% sure i would buy the ps3 haha and then i started thinking and i have no idea.

i would say its all up to you, the choice is mainly for the console exclusive games, and since there are no more halo games coming out i would say ps3.
the consoles have same online experience, mainly same games, and same concept.

I think it's clear to see PS3 has more exclusive titles, and of them a greater ratio are at least possibly good. Also, more importantly - You'll pay the same price for the PS3 with a Blu-Ray drive, Free online play, and a controller with a consistent level of acceleration as you move the joysticks, which is also rechargeable out of the box.

 

False. You'll play the same Halo>Gears>Call Of Duty.

This set could be replaced by Killzone 3>Uncharted 2/3>Call Of Duty.

Same core gameplay, but you can climb on Uncharted, and Killzone is better looking than Halo, with the same core gameplay.

 

Xbox has a way better online community and players. Everyone hacks and screws games up on ps3.

 

The online community might only be "way better" because your 7 friends got an Xbox, honestly. I know plenty of people on the PS3, and you can't buy an MMO for the 360 that's nearly as good as DCUO.

As for the hacking...Sony has set a Firmware update, similar to the Xbox 360's recent update in that it regards Black Ops, however unlike Microsoft's console, when you update to 3.56, if you've been banned in Black Ops, you'll be banned from the Playstation console you used to pirate or hack with entirely.

Think that's unfair? Check the terms of service you signed when you signed up for the Playstation Network, or when you first log on your PS3.

 

Get a gaming PC instead.

But if I had to decide I would say a PS3 because Killzone 3 looks great.

(In 2009 I bought a PS3 soley for Killzone 2 and don't regret my decision)

thanks for everyones responses. in the end i bought ps3 but only one game (black ops, didnt have enough cash to buy more). so far its been fine just sometimes the ps3 is slow and like i will sit there pushing buttons on the controller and nothing will be happening for 5 seconds

Xbox>PS3

 

I'd go with Xbox, in my opinion better because of Xbox live being more popular and I prefer the controllers and the games.

 

It depends, personally I like the PS3 better because it has a blueray player as well. But I would agree that xbox has better games/community.

I think he's referring to the intro screen where you are forced to wait until you see the Activision logo...

 

Xbox far more addicting games, i had a ps3 and it feels slower; online connections are weaker than xboxs' so you'd experience Black Ops better on 360

 

I'm going to say PS3 but really it depends what your after, I would of gone XBOX if I was a huge Halo fan but personally I wasn't.
I see alot of attacks towards the quality of the Internet but you have to realise two things, Microsoft is a computing company were as Sony was an electronic company, they've had an edge since the dawn of their existence and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Also Xbox makes you pay for membership, so if your paying for it and getting a worse experience compared to PS3 then they failed at their job.

Vison you a Final Fantasy fan? Im buying the online one for ps3 when its released here soon(I would of got it for comp but I really wanted to ps3 it)
