Best Advice You Should Know:
If you guys are riding with him, just get in, buckle up, and be quiet. Let him concentrate. Don't try to be a backseat driver. Don't correct him or touch the wheel unless it's an absolute emergency.
-Take a route that you guys know and travel, don't take "back roads" that you have never been on.
And finally, try to be on the road for the least amount of time, meaning don't stop at sonic because 3 out of the 4 of you are drunk and hungry.

Here comes the drink driver PRO. Dude you're either crazy or stupid.
Imagine the OP did follow your advice (because you're making it sound like it's OK to drink drive) and ended up crashing into an oncoming vehicle and killing the occupants. You realise that you could be influencing something terrible like that?

 

Keep in mind the person in questions name is 'Trippy Dream,' meaning said person probably condones a lot worse than drinking (of course all my logic is based on assumptions which is fair since he's assuming himself.)

I would just like to say that I don't condole drunk driving, I'm just trying to help a fellow in need. It's just the same as handing out condoms to teenagers or clean needles to junkies. Noone should drink and drive but sometimes your put into situations where it is one of the last resorts, and would you rather have him do it uninformed?

 

A stupid asshole like the original poster killed one of my best friends along with his younger sister in 07, took right of way off of paul and slammed into his passenger side, he had to watch his little sister die then died in hospital 6 hours later from internal injuries.

 

Wow i love how people think you need alcohol for fun! i guess you maybe lack self confidence or something of the sort so you need a drink to dance and talk to people you normally wouldn't? Yes i do go to a lot of parties and only have a beer or two just because i do that doesn't mean i am a square at all

1-4 beers won't make it really hard to drive at all. Me and my friends give each other some tests and shit sometimes to see how drunk we are, ya know?
After about 6 beers, I can drive still. If I got pulled over and asked to do tests though, I'd fail.
The most drunk I've ever been when driving is like 10ish shots.. I say 10ish cuz I don't even remember how many I had after 10, not to mention the 2 i took RIGHT before I left that didn't kick in till I was halfway to Jewel..
If he's never driven drunk before, I'd say after the 4 beers, wait like 2 hours or so and get him some water and he should be good

 

Call a cab or get a REAL designated driver. Someone who just went to the party to have fun and didn't drink at all. Their are some at every party.

 

Well I've drank and drove before when I've been piss drunk and semi drunk. Honestly it's not worth it.

 

Always, ALWAYS, have a DD. Do not drive with alcohol in your system especially if you are underage. Depending what country you live in, the policies for underage drinking differ and you could end up in a lot of trouble, not to mention you could hurt/kill someone.
Either get a Taxi, get a DD, spend the night, or just buy your friend a dime bag and tell him to smoke that instead.
Please note that I am not advocating driving high, but if its drive high or drive drunk, high is safer. Unless he takes some PCP...Then you're pretty much fucked.

It's not worth one night. I've had five people I knew and loved die from Drinking'and'Driving.

If worst comes to worse, be the responsible person and dont drink. No one is going to care.

Ive had one of my good friends/family members killed this way.

I wish one of us did not drink...

 

I can just say it's not worth it because a few of my friends have a few dui's and I been lucky when I've been crushed driving.

my first idea is to not drink and drive at all - it is obviously the safest option

you could guilt trip someone you know to pick you up so you dont have to drink drive ^_^

maybe try a mixture of food coffe splashing water on his face , drinking water

this is not in your control but maybe you will get in a situation where it is a "buzz kill" and then you try and think more clearly xD

VOMIT VOMIT VOMIT - try get him to spew that will surely do something ^_^ and he will not wont to feel drunk after that !

also maybe try drive with him , like make sure he is aware of his speeds and surroundings things that u cant do em all at once... thats one of the main reasons why people crash because they just focus on one mind set and forget everything else !!

the science behind it - you know how they say dont drink on an empty stomach .... well i have knews for you - drinking on an empty stomach gets him trashed quicker... but come with that it is also out of his system quicker because the shitbag isint interfering with the flow of alcohol and holding it in one spot

I'm sorry man, but drinking and driving is one of the most stupid things to do. If you get in an accident (which is highly probable), think about what could happen.. I mean there's people who have been stuck in a car that's on fire, literally burning alive, losing limbs, and of course dying. Imagine all the shit that could happen (parents, court, etc.), in addition to risks of health. I don't wanna sound like some preachy parent (I probably am sounding like it), but yeah..common sense..

 

Wow, seriously? Every day people die in drunk driving accidents. You can convince yourself all you want that it won't happen to you, but no one sets out with the intent of killing someone. If you're even considering driving drunk, you're just a huge inconsiderate douche.

 

DO NOT GET INTO THE VEHICLE WITH THEM. This is the dumbest thing ever. If you are not willing to take a taxi, don't go. Seriously. A party isn't worth your life. Your friends are fucking stupid by the way. And what if you get pulled over? The driver is automatically fucked, and if you guys are underage your slightly fucked as well. DON'T DO IT FUCK. My friend drove home drunk from a party and i never saw her again. She died on the scene of the wreck. ILL SAY IT AGAIN DONT DO IT.
