    How to play Darts.

How To Play Darts - Blitzful
Hello Sythe community, this is my first of many guides I am going to write. This guide is on how to play darts aswell as other dart games. As stated before, this is my first guide please leave feedback and constructive criticism on how I can improve.

    Setting Up
In a normal game of darts, the dart board is hung up so the bullseye is 173cm off the ground. The oche (the line that the thrower must stand behind) is usually 237cm from the face of the dartboard. You will need a minimum of 3 darts.

    Playing Darts

There is a wide range of games that can be played on a dartboard however 'darts' generally refers to a game where a player throws 3 darts on the board with a goal of reducing a fixed score (usually 501 or 301) all the way back to 0. The game usually consists with 2 players, who take turns throwing 3 darts each.

To win a 'leg' of darts a player must throw his darts to reach an exact score of 0. If a player is on 50 and hits a 20-20-16 with his darts. The 16 would not count since 20+20=40 and he would've needed a 10 to win. Thus the only 20 and 20 count and he would be on 10 his next throw.

There are many ways to score points on a dart board. The black thick outline on the board (outside the triple rings) are considered 'bust' and if you throw your dart there, it scores 0. The bull's eye scores 50 points whilst the bull (just outside the bull's eye scores 25. The triple scores x3 of what number its on, and the double scores x2 of what the number lands on.

The quickest way to win darts is called a nine dart finish which consists of two 180's (All 3 dart's hit triple 20) followed buy a 141

    Games that improve your accuracy.

There is no name for this game, i think me and my friend's invented it. The aim of the game is to hit all the numbers for 1-20. You can have as many people as you want (fastest with 2 obviously) and you take turns throwing your 3 darts. Once you hit 1, you move on to 2, etc, etc. Very fun game that improves your shooting accuracy.

Thank you for reading my guide and I hope you learnt something about Darts.

Nice guide. If you would add the theoretical probability of hitting places it would be really cool. 8/10
