Different paypal payment methods.. and fees?

So with lots of gp sellers getting limited paypals for what I assume too many gifts received making their paypal accounts look suspicious i'm about to receive payments in a different way. What would be the next payment method that paypal would have no reason to limit my account for, and what would the fee be?

 

You should just make the move to Western Union or PlayerAuctions tbh.

 

With the amount of gp I usually sell, those two wouldn't really cut it for me. I don't know much about playerauctions, but I know that not many buyers use WU. Paypal is much more used..

 

You should thoroughly consider playerauctions. Paypal will limit you if you continue accepting payments in any form for a lot of virtual good sales, and they are not very forgiving once they limit you

 

Fees will be 2.9% +$0.30 per transaction for non personal payments, I suggest payments as "Services" with a note and make sure they are verified.

 

What is so bad about accepting all of my payments as a service? For all paypal knows i'm running a legitimate service online.. if i'm paying the fees what reason could they possibly have for limiting me?

 

You shouldn't get limited, just receive payments as services, you get limited for accepting too many payments as personal, just upgrade to Premier/Business account and you should be good, you can't accept personal payments if you have Premier/Business account anyways.

 

That's not true. I've accepted many gifts on my premier account.

 

Well it doesn't block them but you still get fees and it's same as a normal payment, well atleast for me :O.

You could send as gift from premier account, you will only get fees if you sending credit card funded payment. Do you get fees for gift payments you receive?

 

I'm not credit card funded and I still get charged a fee when I send as a gift. Also when someone sends me payment as a gift they have the option whether to pay the fees themselves or dump the fee on me.

 

If you increase your payment methods like video saying, youll be better off.

Still looking for opinions on how I should receive payments on PAYPAL and what the fees would be. Keep in mind almost all of my transactions will be received payments and probably around 1000usd a week.

Get a business paypal and get them to pay through a merchant link.
