"master of elde" Stole $800 Of My Money?

Yesterday I put up an ad in the RuneScape Market > Buying Gold section with title of "[PayPal] Buying 1B Under $0.9 / mill [ PayPal]"

I recieved 2 replies, 1 of which I refused and the 2nd looked appealing (check the screenie)

I added this person on hotmail. I was okay with their vouches and said i'd be willing to go first in increments. He/She said that she wanted to use a OMM which i didnt mind at all.
I found a few OMM but he/she was not happy about my choice even thought some were mods. He/She then sent me a link to someone called rohail. I checked the guy out and all looked fine.
He/she told me that they had spoken with Rohail and he was out but would be back in 10 minutes.

This is the part when i think "master of elde" made the fake email of [email protected]

master of elde added rohail into our msn conversation and for some stupid reason I didnt even think to check the email address with the real one on sythe.

master of elde spoke as rohail and made it sounds totally legit. With me not having much experience the "OMM" stated this was how the deal would go: I send money to OMM. master of elde give 1B to OMM. I get 1B once payment cleared. master of elde gets the $800.

With my little experience i assumed this is how it would work normally and the "omm" spoke so legit like he had done this 1000 times which i thought he had..

So i payed the "OMM" an agreed amount of $800. master of elde claimed she had given the money to the "omm" through our group chat on msn. As it goes... the "OMM" logged...

1st thoughts... Fuuuuuuck!

master of elde continued to talk to me claiming she had lost 1B. As soon as the "OMM" logged she instantly told me she recognised the email adress was not the same as online.. So why the f**k did she add it to her contacts.

At this point i was so annoyed. I had sent the payment as goods. The OMM told me to open and close a case which i though was fair enough. HE/she told me to add this message: "I have recieved the goods and will not chargeback for this item".. I did not put that on paypal though.

The only option I had left to try was Unauthoried payment through paypal. The case was closed within 4 hours in master of elde's favour... I just lost $800. Paypal did not ask me a single question.

Today I logged into msn. Who's online? Rohail.. Who else? master of elde who's msn name is Jannuuuu.
I spoke with Rohail hoping he was going to say he got disconnected yesterday, the response i got was "I gave you what you paid for. Go away. Stop trying to scam me" ... Rohail is now offline.

2 seconds later Jannuuuu speaks to me and asks if I got the money back? Coincedental timing eh?
I then logged into PayPal and Checked the details of the $800 i sent. "Payment To Jan Andersson"

So i sent a payment someone called jan anderson and the hotmail name is jannuuu ? Suspicious!

As the conversation went on with Jannuuuu he/she kept talking about if you claim twice the police will get involved and I just couldnt work out why he/she keeps saying about this. That's when i told him/her to stop bullsh*ting because i know he/she and "rohail" are the same person.

Really, it WAS NOT me, last time, IT WASN'T ME. STOP annoying me and finding me as a guilty person, fuck make a scam report or something with proofs it was me not these "i think person a and person b are the same" What the fuck? I'm asking other peoples thoughts and providing my evidence. I don't understand why you are getting so paranoid when you desperately claim Yourself and the OMM you brang in to this trade are not the same person.

 

I personally think you're dumb for not checking the MM in this big of a trade.
Anyway, if this was bank funded, you're very likely not to get it back.
If it was CC funded, call your credit card company and claim unauthorized payment sent, they'll refund you.

I personally think master of elde did it.

Reason being, after he replied to your thread and you completed the trade, he did not file a report, but he continued trading. Just search his posts and you'll see he didn't flinch an eyelid at losing 1bil. Any sane person who has just lost 1b would report the event to mods or stop trading for a while but this guy did not. He went on like nothing happened!

He's a liar, and he has your money. But you're stupid for not being more careful, especially with $800.... I wish you luck, but damn you were stupid!

 

Call Paypal and say it was an unauthorized transaction. They'll hold your $800 for 180 days, but at least you'll get it back.

 

It's hard to report without taking pictures of the trade, if you watch the stickied thread's on scam report section, it says "No pic no proof". It actually wasn't me who took his money and i've stopped trading over her for a while now, i'm butthurt, no money no gold anymore, at all, thanks to couple of people. But you can think what you want, i don't care unless it get's personal like this one, if you feel i'm a scammer, feel free to make report with successfull proof's, if you don't have proof's then feel free to pm me and not globally blaming me a scammer. How can i prove it wasn't me? What do you want to see? I'm asking kindly you all to stop this, i feel a bit offended, and yeah i'm sorry for your loss, it wasn't me...

 

TBH, master of elde sounds like he's the scammer.

Just file unauthorized payment, Paypal will withhold the 800 for like half a year :X

 

You can enter an alias as your name on paypal cut the bullshit

 

I lost 200 M to a similar scam today so I know your pain, but to a lesser extent. That sucks hard man, I hope you get the cash back. At least in the future we'll know to be more careful.

 

I think it's fishy that he is saying anything he can to stop you from making contact with PayPal, that just screams "SCAMMER@@" to me.

Why didn't you report a scam if you lost 1b ($1000?) and you probably keep contacting him/her to try and play your part as a 'victim'.

If it was illegal, so many people would be in jail, doubt this site would even be up.
