Haha well I just got a really bad virus so I had to reset my windows
Now the problem is I can't connect to the Internet I suspect my wireless Internet chip or whatever isn't installed
So my question is how do I install it? I have this blue disk thing that says reinstall device drivers but that doesn't work so I need some serious help here thanks.
I'm on my iPod now just to let you know

Okay, so it sounds like your wireless/modem drivers aren't installed. To check go to your device manager and you'll see warning symbols next to them if they aren't isntalled. If you don't have CDs with the drivers on them, click on what driver you need in device manager, go to properties --> details ---> Hardware IDs from dropdown. You will see the VEN and DEV (vendor and device) numbers. Go to www.pcidatabase.com and look up your driver using those numbers. Works 90% of the time and I always use it considering I'm running a pirated version of Windows 7 with no drivers etc.

Your Vendor number is 14E and your Device number is 4388. Input either into the search boxes at the top of the website.

Try using another computer to do this. It involves downloading files.

EDIT: Sure you have your vendor and device numbers right?

Try putting the drivers (should be .exe in most cases, or .zip/.rar) on a flashdrive, and then installing them on the computer that needs them. However if you download system information files instead of executables, you'll need to do the following:

    1. Go to device Manager
    2. Go to properties
    3. Go to update driver
    4. Choose to browse computer for driver software
    5. Select folder containing the desired system information file (driver)
    6. It will install itself.

Also, absolutely no chance of a virus using PCI Database. I've been using it for a long time now.

Okay, so maybe your drivers are installed. Here are a few other possible options that could be causing your internet not to work:

Wireless switch on laptop is off (if using laptop)
Have to manually connect to a network
    Something is unplugged

Are you using wireless? If so do any wireless networks come up that are in range? If you're not using wireless what does your local area connection say (unplugged, no connections etc)?

    Try resetting your wireless router.

Also go to device manager. Do any devices have a warning symbol next to them (meaning the driver is not installed)?

Okay so you don't have drivers installed then. Hmm, try uninstalling all your network devices by using the Device Manager, or try rolling back all your drivers and then getting them again from PCI Database.
